"I had these guys tear down and rebuild a column on my back porch, repair some missing brick and straighten out a short wall on the side of my driveway then they tuck pointed some areas that needed some TLC. Progress was a little slow at first, but they finished sooner than I expected and I’m satisfied with the job they did. The house is almost a hundred years old and they took care of it. The best advice I can give someone considering this company is to have a little patience and don't expect that everything is always going to go according to schedule... the weather and other factors outside your contractor's control often will set things back. The important thing, in my opinion is to end up with a finished product that matches your intent and lasts. This review is being written a couple weeks after the work was completed, so I can't speak to the longevity of the work, but I got everything that I was looking for and don't see any reason that it won't last. One of the delays in my job was due to weather, and maybe some contractors would have gone ahead with work even if conditions were not ideal, but Shaun explained why due to rain the previous day we needed to wait to perform the pour, and I was fine with the delay... I don't doubt that it was the right choice. I also contacted 6 concrete contractors over a 1 year period (3 never returned my calls / texts, and one was almost twice as much) and this company was the best deal."

"Josh and the team did a really big job for us last week. They encapsulated our large crawl space, treated wood for mold, installed a sump pump, filled multiple cracks in our foundation, added two drainage systems to the exterior of our house and even cleared out the original drainage pipes in our retaining wall. It was a lot of work and I couldn't be happier that we decided to go with General Waterproofing. We had several quotes from other companies, some much more expensive, but Josh was the only one that actually discovered WHY we had water in our crawlspace and created a plan to tackle that problem. Going with the company that wasn't just putting a bandaid on the situation and was reasonably priced was no-brainer. Also, a number of the other companies were really aggressive and fear-mongered- I did not get that feeling from General Waterproofing at all.
