"I have a slate roof and a rubber roof and had difficulty finding someone who could do a proper inspection with repairs. I stumbled upon Doherty Slate Roofing in Swampscott, MA. Several houses have slate roofs in our town. I have to say, he did an excellent job in repairing my rubber roof as well as the slate roof, which had missing slates and broken slates. Jason was spectacular. He also repaired the Boston Saddle hips and the flat copper roof. The work was done promptly, and the cleanup was very, very good. I am excited to write this review as we need people like Doherty to give us honest advice and understand this unique roof for repairs. Doherty took extreme care not to drop anything in the garden. The clean-up was excellent. I am ready for the winter and do not worry about leaks and ice damage from the missing slates."

"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. "These guys are fantastic! This is the second time I have used them and both experiences were excellent. Last year we had a major leak in a slanted part of our rubber roof. Fixed perfectly. No leaks again. This year we had other parts of our roof leaking (1870 house. Lots of roof pitches and types) they identified the issues, replaced two small roof areas on bays areas, replaced all the broken slate tiles and replaced very old and non-functional down spouts. Ramon and Wilson are kind, conscientious and very reasonable. Their services are highly recommended!!!!"

"Outstanding responsiveness, work, professionalism, everything - I am very grateful!  I called Willard on a Friday, and 
1. A very helpful and straightforward person picked up the phone immediately;
2. A gentleman came the next work day to examine the job;
3. Willard emailed me a detailed and comprehensive quote the next day;
4. Willard ordered parts immediately upon receipt of contract and deposit; and
5. Willard returned in one week and did all the work in one day, so neatly and so cleanly the only change I noticed on coming home was that suddenly I had new skylights and repaired roof and siding.  

The windows and roofing stood up under a downpour without a drop getting through, and I now have amazing solar-powered motorized skylights.  Every time I contacted Willard the phone was answered right away, and every time Willard came exactly when scheduled.  The contract manager was kind enough to go through the entire job details with me and also to give advice on another structural problem with the house.  This after I already had been left hanging by one "top-rated" company and ignored by a second.

"Waterman Building & Remodeling is one of the best home repair companies I have worked with. Sales Rep Andy Cannon came over to the house to provide a complete estimate and to provide a brochure on all the various colors available. We were interested in a certain color, and Jenny Schermerhorn sent over pictures and addresses of work they had done using that color shingle. We agreed to the price, which I found very reasonable, and were put on the schedule on 4/14. We were told they were about 8 weeks out so to expect a call in early June, about a week before our appt. They called to tell us they would be over on June 13th. Materials were dropped off shortly after that call. The day of the appointment came, and the crew was here first thing in the morning. Everything was covered properly, and work began. Foreman kept us in the loop as to what was going on. Very nice guy who I loved chatting with. Work was completed in the afternoon, and a thorough cleanup was done using magnets to ensure no loose roofing nails were in the yard. Its been four months since the roof was replaced, and we have had many storms with heavy winds and rain since then with absolutely no issues with the roof."

"I was so glad our condo association hired joe and his company. Firstly, they carefully looked over the work, gave a good estimate. They answered questions I didn't know I had and explained the entire roofing process. They showed up when they said they would and he came with a large crew and got the work done in one day and it was hot! They did a wonderful job and did more than they had contracted for. "Power Construction did a great job installing the roof and lead flashing the chimney. Just have to wait for a couple of good rainstorms to find out. They initially did a good job of protecting the house with tarps, however, there was a big hole in the center of the tarp and my front stairs got tar on them when they removed the old roof that I had to power wash off. They should repair the tarp. Second, I have a screen porch on the back of my house in which I had just put in new screens and told them to be very careful not to damage the screens. When they removed the old roof from the main house the screen porch was well protected and no damage could have occurred, however, when they removed the old roof from the screen porch they slightly damaged one screen and there were multiple tar marks on the side of the screen porch and some wood siding was damaged. I imagine this type of damage would be typical of any roofer. The project manager on the day of the job was excellent, except he had to leave for a few minutes and something came up and communication with the workers was a challenge since my high school Spanish is not very good, as there was not a lead roofer identified that I should speak to in the event I needed to when he was gone. The workers were all very courteous and attentive to what needed to be done and made sure they cleaned up the yard afterward. Lisa, the point person at the company was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service. She was very helpful and courteous and made sure everything was in order before and after the job was completed. Power Construction offered to come out and replace/fix my damaged screen and to power wash my stairs and walk as soon as I conveyed it to them, however, I had already completed the work as soon as I noticed it. (Happy wife Happy life) When the owner of Power Construction heard I had cleaned up the tar on the stairs and fixed a screen he asked how he could compensate me for my time and materials. I requested Power Construction could replace the gutters on my screen porch and put in a new downspout instead of financial compensation. The owner agreed to have the gutters and downspout replaced at no cost to me. He wants to make sure all customers are 100% satisfied. Once again excellent experience working with Power Construction, I definitely recommend them. My next-door neighbor is actually in the process of contacting them to replace their roof."
