"I'm thrilled. The sales-rep/designer had really good design software to create a design so that I could see it while he was still on-site. It took us about two hours to come up with a design that worked, agree on scope of work (I also asked for plaster-repair and painting), select colors and materials, and finalize the work. The painter did his work in a few hours, with the installers arriving the next day after the paint dried. They too were done in a matter of 2-3 hours. All workmen were courteous and left the space very clean. It looks great and with materials that will likely stand the test of time without warping or separating (no cheap pressed composites). Everything now has its place, ending the clutter battle in my dressing room. I'd consider using them again if we need other spaces reconfigured."

"Lou Sullivan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He showed up on time to do the estimate, walked me through the stamping/colorization process, and gathered required info from me to help him ascertain how to achieve the finished look I desired (including layout, colors, and expansion joint locations). Once done he provided me with an estimate as well as his availability. At no point did I feel pressured, and Lou's professionalism made it feel like I was working with a partner who was genuinely invested in helping me achieve my objective. After agreeing on both a price and timing, Lou returned with his crew to do the work, as scheduled. Again he was punctual, and his crew did a fantastic job of getting the pour down, spread, stamped, colored, and cut (expansion joints) in a timely fashion. A week later (to allow curing) Lou returned to seal the finished product. I'm writing this review more than 18 months after completion of the project -- and waited this long to see how the finished product held up. When clean (as opposed to covered in pollen), my patio looks as good as it did the day after it was sealed. I'm very pleased with the result and would/will engage Carolina Decorative Concrete again should I have a need for more work of this type. Lou is a true professional and a master at his craft. Important: It should be noted that I already had a 4" base of level, tamped crush & run in place for the patio … as well forms in place to hold the concrete pour. Thus, the pricing I received was strictly for the decorative concrete work, as all required prep work had already been performed prior to engaging Lou. Those in need of prep work should factor its cost in, of course."

"We had the pleasure of working with Outdoor Contracting over the past year on our landscape project. Our project was very complex and required someone who could help us consult, design and implement a custom project and Bill and his team were a perfect fit and up to the task. Adding to the complexity, Outdoor Contracting had to pick up the pieces from a failed attempt by our previous landscape designer making the project even more complex. If you have a complex project which no other contractor will touch, then Outdoor Contracting is right for you. The project consisted of designing an enclosure for our back yard which included custom concrete form walls, custom aluminum fencing, pedestrian gates, a cantilevered driveway gate, stepping stones, and beach pebbles. In addition, we had extensive lighting installation, irrigation, grading and sod installation, drainage remediation, electrical work, and installation of unique and unusual trees, shrubs, and plants. Bill and his team were very professional and spent countless hours over the past year ensuring that every detail was addressed since everything was tied together. They were methodical in their approach ensuring that each step in the process was thoroughly implemented before moving on to the next step. Bill even goes out of his was to install additional electrical, irrigation, and drainage conduits to ensure you are future proofed in case you want to expand the project in the future. I have never met a contractor that goes above and beyond in this manner. Outdoor Contracting shows up on time and as scheduled and they are very neat and clean in their approach, always taking time to make sure the job site is cleaned daily. We spent so much time with Bill and his team lead by Miguel that they became like family which made everything run smoothly. We were very happy with the overall quality of the work and the project ended up better than expected. We are thrilled with the final outcome!!! Outdoor Contracting’s motto is “"We do it ALL, & We do it RIGHT" and I cannot emphasize enough how true this is. You won’t need to hire additional contractors to complete your plumbing, electrical, and landscape needs since Bill really does it all.
