Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. This was a complete interior remodeling. We replaced all doors (closets too), kitchen redone from top to bottom (cabinets, counter tops, back splashing. Floors were replaced by removing old carpet and installing wood laminate (water proof). Painted all rooms walls and ceiling. Re-did bath rooms with porcelen and marbel wall tiles with split pebbel stone floor, walk-in showers. New tolets too. Vanities were replaced. Installed ceiling fans in all rooms. Plumming, including gas lines. New electrical plugs and switches, incliding ceiling lights where needed/wanted. The team worked cleanly and each step of the project was explained. Carlos and team will help you stay on buget, which was a big plus for me. Excellant advise on each product selected. I was kept from making the wrong product selections for the application and life stlye. Attention to detail was given by the crew each day/step of the project. "Lonnie changed out the valve that controls water to our house and two outside faucets. The shut off valve is in ox that had deteriorated over the years allowing water to stand it and corroding the valve. The faucets had gotten corroded; and, they could not be rebuilt so had to be replaced completely. Our house is 37 years old, so plumbing parts do not always match and it required finding new parts that will. He completed the job in a very professional manner. He definitely went above and beyond to help us out while he was here. We liked that he gave us a quote for the completed project. Other plumbers gave us an hourly rate; but, they could not tell us how long it would take. So, we wouldn't know what the final cost would be."
