"The project went smoothly and efficiently. Greg was great with returning phone calls and being adaptable to the work schedule of me and my spouse. It was a daunting project requiring excavation of an old concrete patio, repairing some foundation on the house, laying a newer bigger paved patio with concrete slab on the side, and also a paved stairway with stone steps going up a hill. Everything turned out even better than expected. He is also true to his word about repairs and the warranty of the patio. A few months after the project ended, we had to have a small portion of the patio pulled up for some electric line work. He had his crew come out to level, lay, and tamp the patio stones back into place free of charge. Would highly recommend."

Since we border a wetland, their plan called for animal-resistant foliage in an easy-to-maintain installation. Throughout the project their staff was exceptionally helpful, and took care to protect the areas not being renovated, and to clean the jobsite every night when they were done. We were very impressed with the design they presented; the work that they performed; and the diligence and hard work that their staff performed. We have used L&R for prior houses we've owned, and they continue to be an excellent company for all aspects of landscape design and implementation."

"I'm long overdue to write this review, but we hired King Scapes last summer to complete an extensive project to replace a rotten timber retaining wall, replace it with stone, and build a new stone patio with fire pit in our back yard. Even before that, we had met with Don to discuss our broader vision for our yard and he created a three-phase plan (this was phase two) that we could complete as it made logistic and financial sense for us. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work that was completed. They always kept us up to date on what was happening and asked us whenever a decision needed to be made. This ensured we were happy with the finished product. The project was burdened by lousy weather, and they never complained nor did they cut corners to get the job done faster. The work wasn't cheap but that's the nature of the project we embarked upon. We just wanted it done right. I would highly recommend King Scapes."
