"The project went smoothly and efficiently. Greg was great with returning phone calls and being adaptable to the work schedule of me and my spouse. It was a daunting project requiring excavation of an old concrete patio, repairing some foundation on the house, laying a newer bigger paved patio with concrete slab on the side, and also a paved stairway with stone steps going up a hill. Everything turned out even better than expected. He is also true to his word about repairs and the warranty of the patio. A few months after the project ended, we had to have a small portion of the patio pulled up for some electric line work. He had his crew come out to level, lay, and tamp the patio stones back into place free of charge. Would highly recommend."

We and our neighbors were frequently consulted as needed and appropriate to effect minimal disruption by the construction activities. Cleanup by the crew, after construction was completed, was very thorough and extremely well done. We originally interviewed some 6-7 potential companies. "Quick response to our inquiry; punctual for the appointments and to begin the project. Very professional and engaging. Al offered several great ideas and matched our project cost to our budget. Plan was to cut down  all the weed growth on our cliff of a hill, spray everything with weed killer, cover the whole area with dormant seeded crown vetch which would germinate with the spring thaw and retake the hill with a solid ground cover. Unfortunately there is a crown vetch shortage so we are paused after phase 1. We will resume the project in the spring when hopefully the seed product is available.

"I think they are wonderful. They are fast and the quality of work is great! I would definitely hire them again a recommend them to other. My only complaint was that I'm experiencing some heaving on the paved walkway. It started about 6 months after the install, but I have not yet contacted Better Yards to see about a repair. I'm sure they will be able to help me, since they were so nice during the install. If you hire these folks, you will NOT be disappointed."

"These guys did a great job. John came out to give me an estimate and he suggested a couple of different ideas to update the existing landscaping. They were able to start work on the project within a couple of weeks and completed the job very quickly. The people doing the work were very friendly and took time to explain to me what they were doing and let me make choices about the planting placement. The end result was amazing! I think I got a great result for a good price. The price included removing all the existing rock and plantings from the previous landscaping."

"Our concrete walkway had cracked badly over the winter, our rock beds looked terrible and our old railroad ties used for edging were rotting and out of place from snowplowing. Josh got a couple of options to me very quickly and after I chose one was able to start work within a few days. He brought out several examples of pavers to look out and pick from . His crew got the work done in two days, and Josh saw to the details, coming out several times to inspect and make improvements. The crew was polite and neat - cleaned up very well afterward. Josh did not collect final payment until he came out an did a walk through with me. He has pride of workmanship and made some changes to improve the final look that we had not even noticed."

"They did a great job. We needed two brick light posts repaired/replaced and Ben, the owner, came out and went over our options and gave us a prompt bid that was a reasonable price. When we decoded to have them do it the process was so easy and automated that it didn't take any time at all to sign the contract and get the work arranged. They even moved us up on the schedule and had the work done in two days. We replaced the posts, and they look so good that they could have been there since the house was built. The clean up after they had finished was great and they even replaced some of the dirt and added grass seed to the area to cover anything they had to dig up. I highly recommend them for any masonry work you may need."
