"Amazing. Bob completed the job at less cost than his estimate and that included a second task that was not even in the estimate. The job required cutting a hole in drywall that had wallpaper on it and Bob was able to drill holes in the studs behind the drywall and pass wires through the holes thereby leaving the drywall looking great. He has a great knack for figuring out innovative solutions to your problems that minimize cost while making the results look great. I will continue to use him. He is very honest."

"I see I'm the first woman to review here. I had a small list of jobs I needed done such as check if switches were live, install a GFI in the bathroom, check breaker panel. Electrician, Scott showed without the necessary parts. I had told the receptionist what I needed but he said he wasn't informed...lied to me as to what would be involved to change a two prong to three, did nothing and charged me $50 just to show. The written receipt doesn't even show his name or details as to why he couldn't work when there. I am effected by the COVID pandemic and have not worked since March. The last thing I need to to be ripped off and have my time wasted by a Wanker! Shameful!!!!!!!"

"I broke a 3 1/4 “ x 5” spherical globe on a light fixture. I found one displayed on lampsclinic.com, but since all the photos for globes on their website used the same photo for a multitude of different sizes, I wrote to make sure the item I wanted to order did indeed have a 3 ¼” opening. They assured me that it did, so I ordered it. When it arrived, the opening was only 3” and of course it was too small to fit securely in the 3 ¼” opening. I wrote back and they insisted that since the globe opening was smaller than the fixture, it had to fit. I was told that if I wasn’t happy with it, I could send it back for a possible refund after paying return postage and a 15-20% restocking fee. Had I ordered incorrectly, this might be a solution. But since they assured me it would fit, I don’t see why I should not get a full refund, including postage and their exorbitant shipping and handling charge. I suggested this in an email and never heard back until I wrote again. Still they refused. I decided to try one last time to speak with a customer service manager. I finally found a phone number for the company, but when I called, I was told that I was speaking to the retail store branch and since it was an online order, he could not help me. And despite being the same company, he told me there was no way to contact the online branch by phone. Extremely poor customer service."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Mission Viejo, CA

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
