"I Know It When I See It!! Years ago, I sat in a meeting room amongst a group of executives to talk about the business of the day. On this day, however, something was different. When we went to sit down, we each found a book in front of our seats, 'I Know It When I See It'. The print was larger than usual and the words were elementary enough for a young kid to be able to read and understand. I smiled, nodded my head yes and proceeded to do another walk through with him knowing that I was side-by-side with a young man who gets it. He already understands that companies that toss around claims of quality don't determine if quality was delivered - the customers do. They know it when they see it. "It went great. There was one snafu because a subcontractor’s extruding and bending machine was on the fritz. However buckeye construction got it done in one day on a very tight schedule—that is before the next big storm supposedly arriving early tomorrow morning. They even went the extra mile and attached a chimney a previous contractor left unattached, and put several screws in the roofing on corners at opposite ends of the house a previous roofing company failed to install even though there were holes already there."

"The salesman was knowledgeable and it didn’t take long for the crew to come out to do the work. The roofing job itself is fine. The price was hefty but I don’t mind paying extra for quality work. The problem is that I was told someone would come do a walk around with me after the job was done and that the crew would clean up when they were done. Once the job was finished, the crew packed up and left and that was it. We did the inspection ourselves (because no one came back out to follow up like we were promised) and there were nails everywhere including in the ALLEY behind our garage (they shingled the garage). So disappointed in the lack of follow through. Not worth the price paid by a long shot."
