"Matt was very helpful from the beginning. We had extensive damage from squirrels being under the panels. They chewed up all the wires and ruined all the optimizers. We're lucky there wasn't a fire and I wasn't sure we could afford to fix the panels! Matt helped identify the work that needed to be done and also was helpful in helping me identify that the roof should be replaced while the panels were down. He was super patient as we got various estimates on the roof and then had it done. After giving me an estimate for the whole job he fulfilled my requests for itemizing the estimate and was great at explaining each item. He did the job for the exact number on the estimate. He and his partner fulfilled everything on the estimate and over-performed by recutting some the brackets to make them exactly even that our original installer Boston Solar did not do when they were installed 10 years ago. I called Boston Solar this January when we realized the damage the squirrels had done and they gave me an estimate for the work. Boston Solar gave me an estimate for just taking the panels down, doing a diagnosis and reinstalling them. This did not include the repairs and parts which are the expensive part! I'm so glad I got a second opinion! For the same price Green Sun Energy took the panels down, diagnosed the problem, fixed all the panels by replacing all the optimizers, MC4 connectors, wires, flashing kits, reinstalled the panels AND added a Critter Guard.
