"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

Got 4 quotes and these guys were in the middle. Went with 50 yr GAF HDZ architectural. Clean-up after was great. Company communication was good. I'd recommend them. Had to have 5 sheets of plywood added or replaced. At $75/sheet (1/4 or 3/8") it seems a little excessive but I understand overhead costs. All good."

"Ackerman Exteriors replaced the 45-year-old wood siding on a custom rural house, built in 1980, with vinyl siding. Included in the job were some window and door replacements, gutter installs, and other improvements to the house to address issues I had made note of over a decade of ownership. The guys did great work. The house is immeasurably better in every way, and the updates proved their worth this winter. During the lead-up and during the work, they listened to concerns and ideas, and made actionable proposals in response. After the project was finished, they followed up to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. There were schedule slippages and material delivery delays, which is all par for the course, especially in 2025. They were communicative about the delays, and able to reorder the work accordingly. "Hi Tech is an extremely well run organization, top to bottom. From President Bill Chase, Nick Painten (Production Manager), Julie (front office operations), Bill McGurn (Operations Manager) and the Hi Tech crew, the entire team is outstanding. Bill Chase took the time up front to provide a rundown of the services, materials and an estimate. He's very personable, competent and professional. As the work was in progress, Nick made several trips to check the overall project quality and asked if there were any questions or problems each time. And upon completion, Bill Chase followed up with a phone call to see if we were happy with the work. The Company is extremely responsive, always. The siding and window crew, the electrician and gutter teams are professional, courteous, detailed and very hard working. The home is a large, 1850s Mansard colonial with plenty of detail- 10 dormered windows and fancy trim. The men replicated the detail to perfection, replacing all rotted trim and crown molding with PVC, which looks exactly like wood, but is weather and rot proof. The crew worked from 7:30 AM to just shy of dark, and cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. Got plenty of compliments from passers by even before the work was completed. My wife and I couldn't be happier."

"The initial job was to install soffit under the large roof overhang. The roofing is angled. Where the angle edges met there was a 1" gap. The gap leads directly into the attic allowing cold air, insects and small animals in. That was insulated before the soffit installed and sealed over the gap. I had another contractor do my siding and their work was amateurish and poorly done in a number of places. TDL cleaned up the poor workmanship and replaced sections of the gutters damaged by the previous contractor. TDL's repairs were done well and improved the look of the siding errors. Very pleasant to work with. Explained all the changes they were going to make verifying we were completely on the same page. Suggested alterations which turned out great. Paid attention to the details which improved the look and functionality."
