"Due to a terrible roof leak back in January, and the subsequent collapse of my kitchen ceiling, I decided it was time for a new roof. As this is a major expense, and at a particularly bad time for me, I contacted 5 companies. Ultimately I hired Westshore Roofing. Ben Fowler was terrific to work with from the very beginning. Having a background in project management I typically rate services by, well, their ability to provide good service. One of the most important elements is communication. Ben provided a very detailed quote listing every aspect of the work, materials and process. He also responded to my every inquiry, even bringing me samples and, when necessary, coming by personally to check out questions I had during the process. His team, supervised by Manuel, was great. Manuel similarly was very responsive to questions and did a great job with the main roof as well as a couple of gnarly spots. There was only one issue: I had requested gutters with a double profile, and because I was not home when they were installed, they made a single profile. It's not a big deal, but I recommend double checking with the gutter installer prior to extrusion if you are really particular. Ben was also very accommodating to my indecision regarding downspouts versus rain chains. I ultimately decided on chains. Thanks Ben and Manuel for making a very painful undertaking a lot better!"

We were looking for different inserts and they were very helpful in making recommendations for outside the house, as to what we needed for an insert. They advised an EPA compliant unit and we had a couple of adjustment issues which needed to be worked upon. They had a few contractors who dealt with chimneys, who were very good. They were very knowledgeable and carried several types of inserts. I liked their services and will use the same in future."

Then they called back to change it... asking if they could come a few days early because they were getting through their other jobs quickly. What contractor shows up early?? In my experience, they're always running late. Big points in Daddario's favor. They started removing my old roof at 7:30am, and before noon, they were finished and had already started stacking the new shingles for installation. They worked all afternoon, returned the next day, and had the job completed by 2:30pm, including repairing a corner that had suffered from dry rot. That means the job was completed, start to finish, in less than two days. My neighbors remarked that "they worked like demons!" <br /> Here are more things I liked. I expected that with a re-roof, my yard would be a mess of old shingles, dirt, etc. I also have flowering vines along the eaves of my home, so I naturally expected them to be damaged to some degree during gutter removal. I was totally wrong. The entire crew ensured that they cleaned as they worked. I was impressed. My vines are still intact. Not a single one was damaged. I was even more impressed. At the end of each day, they used a blower to clean the entire yard, front and back. And they even had me open the garage so they could blow out anything that had fallen inside during demolition. <br /> Sun tunnel installation was equally clean. It required accessing my attic and cutting through the ceiling. Not a bit of dust was left behind. Clean, clean, clean, and total respect for my property. <br /> The job is done quickly because Daddario puts its entire crew on each job. They do one roof at a time so they can minimize inconvenience to the homeowner. Another neighbor remarked about "the guys crawling all over the place." <br /> Want to know what else? Daddario didn't ask me for a dime up front. Joe told me that I don't pay until the job is done and I'm happy. That's a really trusting way to do business, and I liked it very much. I believe that when people are trusting, they also are very likely to be trustworthy themselves. <br /> Would I hire them again?? Without a doubt. Would I recommend them to others? Absolutely. <br />"

"Worked with Mark to pick the right solution (he shared a good, better, best set of quotes). But the real joy was in the actual installation. We had assumed it'd be messy, take a while, and be a hassle. Couldn't have been more different. His team was fast, was incredibly professional, and did a fantastic job. Even going the extra mile to share photos of their work at the end of the day so we could see the progress. When we wanted to look at specific components (eg thickness of sheet metal being used) there was no complaint, only accommodation. He must have had 7 trucks working the job at one point. Not only where they faster than expected, incredibly well-prepared and professional, but they were one of the more reasonable quotes we got."
