"Had old fluorescent lights.  This company specializes in replacing those old lights with new LED lighting highlighted by a new, finished, more up to date look along with a crown moulding trim. <br /> These guys KNEW what they were doing.  The job went perfectly and came out great. They had TWO rooms to do (kitchen and pantry) and finished in one day.  Left the house cleaner than it was when they started.  Couldn't be happier with the service and the finished product.  All in all, a wonderful experience. <br />"

"Anthony and his Dad couldn't have more professional.  Anthony gave a very clear estimate outlining all work to be performed prior to service.  We selected City Lights over two other electrical contractors who were a little cheaper but City Lights came highly recommended by a friend who had recently done some work for us.   <br /> We couldn't be happier with the job that City lights did!  They were prompt, courteous, and kept  a clean job site throughout the installation.  The emt/pipe bending that was required due to the nature of our patio cover got a little complicated but you wouldn't know it by how it turned out.  Anthony's meticulous attention to detail is nothing short of brilliant!  Seriously!  When we were initially stumped on how we would provide electricity for sconces on our patio cover support posts, Anthony and his Dad came up with the idea to build and frame little boxes so that the electrical conduit would cleanly come in to provide electricity to the lights.  The miter cuts were perfect and the boxes turned out to be a great solution to our initial dilemma. <br /> The lights are all installed now and they look fantastic.  I would highly recommend City Lights and look forward to using them again in the future for any of our electrical needs. <br />"

After many trips to the hardware store, I finally threw in the towel and turned to Angie's List where I stumbled across Nick at The Electric Connection. "1. Called on a Friday for work that I wanted done a week later.  Call was not returned until the following morning.  Apparently, he was out of cell phone range during the day. <br /> <br /> 2. The work was done on a Saturday morning.  No extra charge for Saturday work. <br /> <br /> 2.  The electrician, Dennis Jones, arrived on time. <br /> <br /> 3.  After he arrived, we went over the details of the job.  He then gave me an estimate as to the labor hours involved plus any parts.  <br /> <br /> 4.  I agreed with the estimate and he then proceeded with the job.  He then left to go to Home Depot to get some parts.  Was back quickly and began working.  <br /> <br /> 5.  He did a nice job on the rewiring in the garage.  The new switch turned on both the inside and outside lights.  With the inside light switch now working, we did conclude the light fixtures themselves needed to be replaced.  He then made another trip to Home Depot without charging for the extra travel time.  <br /> <br /> 6.  The installation of the wall mounted light fixture in the family room also went very well.  This was replacing one that no longer worked.  We had already bought a new one.  He removed the old one, and installed the new one to the height that we agreed upon.  <br /> <br /> 7.  The bill that I received was in line with the estimate.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I had thought I purchase two hours of electrical service only to be informed that the actual work scope was essentially limited to changing light bulbs, fixtures on an existing circuit, or trouble shooting an existing problem....things that I can handle for the most part on my own. Even if I had all the materials to add a fixture onto an existing circuit, that was not considered part of the contracted scope. I also had been trying to arrange for someone to be home during period of time that service could be performed, and finally arranged for someone for an entire week (starting Monday 3/20) to permit the work to occur. The ADI scheduler informed me that all next week was taken."
