"Wilson came out and gave me a quite to repair and paint the exterior of my patio. We agreed on a price and a day to start work. Wilson arrived on time and got right to work. Job was completed in 2 days as promised and everything was left neat and clean. All surfaces to be painted as well as my garage door was power washed. Very happy with the job and I would hire him again. Highly recommended."

"Oscar was great. Him and his team did a better job than I had hoped for. We contracted him to do our coffee shop interior walls and bathroom. He was very communicative and detailed. I also contacted him to do another job. I high recommend him. "

Customers say: Super punctual

"Very satisfied with Jose’s painting and I’d hire them again for sure. Work was quality, thorough, efficient, etc. Same crew from start to finish - they did good work and were courteous, kept me informed, and kept to the schedule. I interviewed 3 others before starting, and they seemed to be the most capable. I’m glad I chose them. Jose was easy to work with and he and his crew inspired confidence throughout the whole process."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Montrose, CA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
