"I would never recommend this business to anyone. I picked out my granite during the last week in June. The owner knew that time was short for us and that we needed things done quickly. They sent me an estimate where they were charging tax on both the stone and the labor. Another company told me that labor was never taxed. I asked for an adjustment, and the price was reduced a little. I called and told them that I wanted them to do the work, and I was told they needed a check or credit card for 1/2 the amount. The cost would be higher if I used my credit card, so I mailed a check. Several days later, when I called to check on things, I was told they had not received the check. I drove 45 miles to take them another check and requested they let me know when the initial mailed check was received (I have heard nothing about the initial check). They said they would get someone out to the house to do the measurement template the day after the 4th (a Friday)....nothing. I started calling the company on Monday morning and continued on Tuesday. No one answered, and no one returned my call. When I finally got someone on Wednesday, I was told they would send someone out to measure the next day. When the guy arrived to measure, he told me that he would not put granite on the island with a bar overhang unless I had supports added to the island cabinet. I added the supports and sent pictures to the owner on Monday. We heard nothing, so we started calling. It was late Tuesday before anyone answered the phone. The owner had not shown him the pictures. The next morning, I got a phone call, and the installer said he still would not put the granite on the island because he wanted supports from the floor (which he did not tell me initially). I have spent almost 4 weeks waiting on this company. They are unresponsive, unreasonable, and awful to work with!!!!!!!"

"STL Woodworking did a stellar job with my special order for a one-of-a-kind river wood table. I described what I had in mind in terms of wood, colors, and size, and the owner (Greg) crafted the most beautiful table made out of a beautiful piece of macacauba wood and paired with a gorgeous epoxy color and a perfect set of black metal table legs. Greg completed the project on schedule and delivered the piece himself. The table is stunning, so I rearranged my furniture to make it a centerpiece in my sitting area, and I use it daily as my desk working from home. It is truly a piece of functional art. I am so glad I went with STL Woodworking for this project."

"I just wanted to have my cabinet refinished it took appx 2 long years to finish and the professionalism from the General Manager was very patronizing. Finally, finished and some the work was very sloppy. Customer Service is challenging at best. First installation started to fail took my constant appearance for something to be done despite having a "warranty". Second return someone was in a hurry, so I ended up with some subpar work done. Don't know if there are other factors contributing to this but it is beginning to look like it."

"This is a horrible company that takes advantage of clients. We hired Ron and his team to build a TREX deck for our home. He wrote the contract and took the payment in March and two weeks went by with no communication. After several attempts to reach him, he assured us he would begin the work on the following week due to weather. Two weeks came and went with no communication again and several attempts to reach him. Finally, after a late night call was answered out of frustration he stated the team would be there on Monday. Of course they were a no show and he later. offered a refund. We gave him two weeks AGAIN to refund the deposit of 5600 and we are in June and no refund has been received nor any communication. We have since reported a fraudulent case to our financial institution."
