"Very satisfied with Jose’s painting and I’d hire them again for sure. Work was quality, thorough, efficient, etc. Same crew from start to finish - they did good work and were courteous, kept me informed, and kept to the schedule. I interviewed 3 others before starting, and they seemed to be the most capable. I’m glad I chose them. Jose was easy to work with and he and his crew inspired confidence throughout the whole process."

"Our entire experience with Dream Painting was a 5/5. From Paul who arrived on time for our estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable to Claire at the reception we had very good vibes from the start. Roberto and his painting team were incredible! They are very punctual, professional, friendly and did an amazing job painting our 2450 sq foot home interior (doors, trims, base boards, and walls). We received over 6 quotes for this job and they had the best reviews and the most competitive pricing. They sourced the paint, had daily walkthroughs, and completed the job on schedule. Will definitely hire them again in the future."

"Jon and his team were amazing! Jon worked with me to ensure the colors were perfect for my kitchen. We decided to refinish our cabinets since they were real oak cabinets. It was the best decision. We were a little over 3 months in from completing the remodel and our cabinets have been perfect. They are easy to wipe down and hold up well even with toddlers banging into them."

"I strongly recommend avoiding Budget Painting (Todd and his sons). The work was careless and the finish quality is unacceptable. There are clear uneven lines, paint bleed on ceilings/trim, and visible sloppiness throughout multiple areas. I provided the paint and the areas were ready, so this should have been straightforward. Instead, the workmanship and attention to detail were poor and the final result did not meet basic expectations for a paid paint job. It?s obvious the job was rushed to move on to the next project. This created more work for me after paying for a service that should have been done correctly the first time. If you want clean, professional painting results, do not hire this company. And honestly, Angi/Angie?s List should be more careful about who they recommend or allow on their platform, because this experience was a waste of time and money."

"It was great working with Joel. He was responsive and constantly kept in contact. His prices were very fair, which was refreshing to find. He left the area clean when he finished and guaranteed his work."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Moreno Valley, CA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
