The finished carpentry work was excellent. He is a reliable self starter, as I was mostly absent from the home while he completed the projects. "I have an old farmhouse.  I did receive a couple of quotes, but I think most came by, looked at the roof, and decided that they would prefer to work on a more straightforward project.  Robert stuck with me.  We started with a quote for shingles, because everyone else told me a metal roof would be 3x the cost of shingles.  When I mentioned that we would prefer a metal roof, Robert gave me an estimate that was surprisingly within reach.  He was also patient with me when choosing colors.  We did have a couple of delays, mostly because of weather, so it would be unfair to blame Robert and his crew for that.  In fact, he was able to work on our roof sooner than expected.  When Robert discovered problems underneath the old roof, he contacted me right away and he offered me practical solutions.  The quality of the work seems good, and slight imperfections may be due to the old structure of the roofs that they have to work with.  If my windows don't leak this winter and the snow falls off as we expect it to, then I will be able to speak to that better.  Robert and his crew were professional and great to work with.  They left the place in good shape every day.  I enjoyed working with Robert. <br />"
