"Pete (the owner) and his roofing crew (Genaro, Alberto, Pedro) were great! Pete replied promptly to my initial inquiry and came out right away to look at the roof. Following that, it took somewhat longer than I had hoped to get an initial bid and to actually start the job, but his bid turned out to be lower than the others, and I could see that the delay was for the right reason -- Pete always prioritizes the roof he's already working on to make sure it's done well and as quickly as possible, so a house doesn't stay unprotected for longer than necessary. Once they finally finished earlier projects and started working on our roof, they were 100% on task from start to finish. They are a small company and ours was a complex, 4000+ square foot roof that required ordering special materials along the way, so it took about a month to complete the job with 3 guys working 40 hours per week. However, I really appreciated the way they always started promptly on time each day and worked closely with my wife and I throughout the entire process to make sure work was being done exactly as we (and the City's historic rules) needed it done. Pete and his crew were friendly and very accommodating of special requests related to the historic peculiarities of our house, skylights, neighbor's concerns about parking, etc. Many parts of the roof required creative, on-the-fly problem solving, due to the non-standard construction of our 1800's house. Genaro, especially, was great at innovative problem solving and did beautiful work, but everyone on the team was super dedicated, hard working, and skilled. We have already had one heavy downpour since the new roof went on, and not a single drop got through! I can confidently recommend Positive Results Roofing if you are looking for a small, personable company that is licensed and bonded and does quality roof replacements or repairs for a reasonable price."

"LIfetime Roofing & Renovation worked on our flat roof, and I had a great experience based on their reasonable price, attention to details, craftmanship and quick work. Along with reroofing, I have also had them did a couple of rotted repairs and putting new underlayment before new roofing materials. These guys know what they are doing! They will pull the necessary building permit, include their liability insurance, worker comp insurance and warranty included in the contract, Highly recommended if you need your roof to look at for repair/installation!"

"DS Roofing came out to repair a roof leak on our flat top gravel roof. The owner of DS Roofing came to check where the leak was coming from. He found the flashing around the chimney was not sealed properly. DS Roofing made the repairs and we no longer had rain coming into the bedroom and living room! "My project was for new roof n gutters, I had to have my old 3 layers of shingles removed. The team that demolished old roof shingles did a good job. Although it was a messy task, plastic sheeting was laid down n all material was disposed off. New plywood was laid down, there were a couple of spots that the plywood was not laying completely flat n was addressed. New shingles were installed in 2 days n look great. For the new seamless gutter install, the existing fascia needed painting but Newhaus wanted an extra 4,000.00 dollars to do it. So I hired a separate painter to do it for less than half the price. The gutters proposed were not the style I wanted n had to have them switch to what I wanted. The new gutters were installed n look great. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work n materials used although there were a couple leaks at corners that has to be re-sealed. However dealing with Newhaus could have been better, upon signing the contract online I did not hear from them for over a week to let me know the status or when work would start. I had to text the original sales guy to ask what was going on. The were also a couple of times workers did not show up when scheduled or were late from time that they were supposed to show up."

"Excellent. From estimation to execution, the team was impeccable. The recommendations were appropriate and accurate. The backdrop: all other roofers stated I needed a new roof. My roof is only 3 years old!! I called Eastman for a new roof; Eastman estimator recommended I repair instead. He looked at the roof and nailed the repairs; he estimated the roof had another 10-12 years life left!! So - a new roof at $27,000 versus Eastman's approximately $800 !!!"

"We had a partially flat roof that had a known issue with a leak where it met a vertical wall. On inspection we learned the old tar and gravel surface as a whole generally had issues requiring attention, as did the nonexistent or inadequate flashings. Looking for a roofer, we found Lifetime had the best price and high reviews. When Tony and Dylan came out to look at the situation and discuss fixes, we found that they listened well and came up with great solutions to the parts of our roof that needed repair and did not try to oversell us to fix the parts of our roof that were in good repair. Lifetime pulled the permit and got the team to work right away under the supervision of project manager Tony. He ably supervised the team and communicated progress daily in person or by email/text or both. He answered our questions and made sure the crew cleaned up, including ensuring they honored the city’s restriction on gas-powered blowers. All in all a job well done for a reasonable price.
