They booked a house of mine on Airbnb and smoked in it knowing it was a non smoking house and damaged my driveway and didn?t even attempt to fix it after confronting them them about the issues no response if they are willing to treat someone?s home in that manner I can?t imagine the corners they cut and how bad the quality of work they do is ? and you can obviously see how they handle problems when there is a issue by not responding!!!"

"I cancelled a job I put a deposit of $10,826.95 down for because the sale of my home fell through. I cancelled on June 13th and I still haven't received my refund as of 8/19. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose."

"Mike Passman and Doug Moore investigated a Home I am selling. New. Just passed County inspects. The only positive reviews on these ppl is 7 years old. Check google and Angi They eroniously reported to buyers that the home has negative slope into the foundations on the ENTIRE perimeter. That water flowed into the home. Need to remove deck and trees they said. to fix the sloping on whole house they said. Gutter drains are a problem they said. HOWEVER, all slopes were measured hours after the left with the appropriate fall in all sides and 1 area was still being worked. Reported gutter drains as a problem yet all but 1 is piped out 10 to 30 fert from the home. They even noted 1 as Burried when it simply terminated at the French Drain he didnt even notice. Complete Incompetence in My Opinion as a Licensed contractor of 20 years. Their report was written on a Word Invoice as well. Extreemly unprofessional. Cant say it enough... Extreemly unprofessional"

"I had a very unfortunate experience with a misleading sales rep. In December 2022, a sales rep named Ryan came out to my house to show me my options. He suggested that we have a perimeter trench dug around the basement with a well and sump pump. He went over the options with me and told me about the amazing sump pumps that 58 Foundations & Waterproofing has...they are battery back-up in case of a power outage. I was excited about that because it gave me peace of mind. Let me be clear when I say that there was only a SINGLE option presented when it came to the type of sump pump they provided. Ryan gave me the option of a battery back-up and no other options. The install crew comes out, does a fantastic job, and gets it all done in a timely manner. 5 months passes and we have some bad storms rolling in. I wanted to be sure that the sump pump battery was still good, so I open the lid of the well to check on the battery, only to find out that we have a pump without a battery back-up, like I was told by my sales rep we would have. I reach out to the company to see if the battery is hidden inside the pump. After 24 hours, I still haven't heard back from the company, so I reach out to the sales rep directly. He tells me that I didn't purchase the battery back-up pump and that he would be happy to sell me one for an additional $1,500 (I am sure he would be happy to sell me one). I contacted the company to see what resolution we could arrive at. I have basically been told at this point that I did not purchase one even though the sales rep told me I was getting a battery back-up pump. A battery back-up was VERY important to me. The SC manager for 58 Foundations & Waterproofing called me today and offered to sell me one. But I cannot bring myself to pay for something that I was told would be included. She told me that the invoice does not show a line item for the battery back-up and that the invoice only lists "sump pump". But, how was I supposed to know that "sump pump" didn't mean the battery back-up pump that the sales rep told me would be included? How was I supposed to know that there would be a separate line item for "battery"? They have relied on the ignorance of their customers to take advantage. Everyone who gets one of these systems, make sure that you actually get what your sales rep told you...because I did not. And at the end of the day, of course the company has blamed me for the miscommunication. The SC manager told me that there was just a miscommunication and that she was sorry that I did not understand what I was purchasing. In reality, the reason that I did not understand is because I was misled. Until this issue is fixed and a battery back-up is installed free of charge, I will continue fighting this issue."

"It was easy to schedule a consultation/estimate and they came out within days. Person doing estimate was not just a salesman. They were able to determine what was needed to resolve issues, did measurements, costing, time estimates, scheduling, etc. It was not the pushy sales pitch with finding a million things wrong that I expected. Very efficient process and I knew within hours what my options were and how quickly it could be fixed. They were able to schedule and complete repair within 2 weeks, would have been sooner but I had scheduling conflicts. Kept me informed all along the way with scheduling and work progress. Every employee I had contact with was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable in their role. Cleaned up all of their tools, trash, and work area after repair. Checked in with me multiple times to make sure I understood process of the repair and that I was happy afterwards. Hopefully will not need these services in the future, but if I do they'd be the first I'd call."
