They meticulously lowered every tree piece and took care to not damage anything. They finished ahead of schedule and by far had the best price around. "From beginning to end it went really well. Greg is a walking encyclopedia of trees and good practical advice on how to manage them. His proposal was clearly written and lower than two other firms. The crew was right on time, wasted no time getting set up and taking the tree down, and removed a large limb from another tree that fell while they were working on the dead tree. They climbed up about 50 feet in a twin trunk tree and installed a cable between the twins to help stabilize the lesser twin. Very pleased with them, enough to recommend them to my neighbor who also used them for a dead tree in their front yard."

"Wonderfully. Mr. Harmon's estimate was lower than any others, including one offered by a neighbor whose friend had a cherry picker truck and from whom we have been buying firewood for decades! The Tri State crew made us a priority and came within days of the initial estimate. (Only storms and rain kept them from doing it immediately.) The crew was thorough, quick, and not only cut branches up into sizes for burning, but stacked them in our wood pile! They had top notch equipment, were extremely courteous, efficient, and impeccable with their clean up. Once the tree was down, we realized that the hornet's damage had eaten away more than half of the tree's diameter at its base! We were truly in danger with this damaged tree. It was within 8 feet of our house and the branches extended over half of our roof, right over our bedroom! We live on a wooded lot and from now on, Tri State Tree Service will be our only go to for trimmed branches and tree removal. I cannot recommend them any more highly. Thank you, Mr. Harmon. "I contacted five tree removal companies to provide an estimate. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."

"I contacted Willie to have an azelea tree trimmed. Willie let me know right away it was best to wait to trim the tree until it was no longer blooming. I appreciated him being honest. Willie checked my other trees and let me know they were being eaten away by caterpillar nests. Willie and his team did an excellent job of trimming down those trees and cleaning up the nests. They arrived on time and were very professional. They cleaned up all the debris and left my yard as clean as they found it. I highly recommend Willie for your lawn care needs. He did and excellent job for me and I know he will do the same for all of his customers."

"I would use Kurt again in a heartbeat. He was easy to deal with - we had most of our back and forth over email, so there was no playing telephone tag. The stone work and patio look fantastic; the work was top quality.  Also i had debated about the installation of a stone sitting wall, and Kurt didn't try to push me to install it; just the opposite: he said it would be easy to add later, so I should hold off to get a sense of our use of the patio without it first.

"Tyson's did an excellent job from start to finish. The crane makes the work go faster and looks safer for the workers. Some delays to the starting date were unavoidable because of rainy weather, but once they came out they worked very quickly to remove the trees. Our large trees were all oaks that were 15-25 feet from the house in a heavily wooded back yard. They also went above and beyond by removing some wood left from a prior tree service and fixing damage that the other workers did to surrounding trees. Tyson's cleaned the yard very well and there was no damage (again, unlike the other tree service we hired this summer, which was a horrible experience). Our neighbors also hired Tyson's recently and had a great experience, so between that, their use of a crane, and the reasonable price, it was an easy decision. So glad we went with them. I can't recommend them enough. They are our new go-to tree company now."
