"The rep was prompt in arriving for the in-house appointment to give me a bid for services. The presentation was fine, to the point without pressure, focusing on their quality work (which was in line with some personal contacts I had made). After getting this and other bids and making the comparisons of price and windows supplies (researched manufacturers on line) I decided to use a different vendor. With an Angie's List coupon, which I had mentioned when I made the appointment, I was to receive a Casey's gift card for getting the in-house meeting. The rep said they were out at the moment but would send the card wether or not I selected Home Town, just as the Angie's List ad promised. That was in September. Sad to say, I never received the Casey's gift card. The card was a small perk to contacting a company I would have contacted anyway. It was a surprise and small disappointing result. Would I hire again? I marked Yes, but that is subject to research and comparing bids."

"When first contacted for a bid on the work, Done Done Services was prompt in providing the estimate. Initially my elderly Mother-in-Law did not want to deal with moving out furniture and elected to do the minimum necessary to repair the damage. Once the work began, however, it was evident that more work needed to be done to correctly repair the damage. Pat Freilinger, the owner, and the assigned workman, Chris, convinced my Mother-in-Law that they should do what was necessary to do the job right. In the end Chris did a fantastic job removing wall paper in the entire room, repairing plaster, sealing cracks, and painting the room. The work was done on a timely basis and the end result was fantastic. Both Chris and Pat kept us informed of the progress and Chris helped my Mother-in-Law put the room back together when all of the work was finished. "From the estimate to the final product, Superior Exteriors was professional, timely, on price and very thorough . All employees were hard working, professional and, to be honest, great! The foreman explained the whole process, showed my husband the holes in the roof, from the previous low standard roof, and explained how they would correct the problems. They did a great job on clean up and we did not have any issues with nails being left behind. I would recommend this company for all your home needs. "We obtained bids from other contractors before making our decision. Steffen construction came highly recommended and was more professional in their presentation and the estimate was lower than any of the others. They started the work in a week or two and and continued till the project was completed. Everything was completed in a timely manner and the work was excellent. Much to our surprise when the total bill was presented to us it was almost $400 UNDER the estimate even after we had added some things that were not in the original estimate. The materials were supplied by Pro Build Lumber in Walker and were all of excellent quality. Kudos go out to all the workers of Steffen construction and to Ron Wagner's heating, cooling electric and plumbing and to RC-1 Drywall for their excellent work. We had no unforseen problems and we're more than satisified with everything."
