The rest was ok and I couldn't see spending the money to replace it all. George Keller did a terrific job on the roof and worked with me to match the LP siding using James Hardie siding. Carl the estimator took his time gave me a detailed estimate with pictures showing all the sections of siding that would be replaced. George Keller had done other houses in our neighborhood and one neighbor, an architect, used them, so that speaks to their reputation. I would highly recommend them. They are very efficient and neat and will finish your job in a day or two."

"Replace a roof is a big improvement to a house. I wonder how to find the good company and warranty. Fortunately, I find GAF is the major supplier of roof supplier and its MasterElite provides a good list of companies. Still, interview many from the list is very helpful and educational. There are still quite differences among them from the list. One asked me to sign the contract right on the spot. Fortunately, I did not. Later, I found they had the highest price. I chose Acorn. He owner, Mike, came did the estimate. The job was done as promised. The roof looks good."

"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

We started the process early in the season, and after deciding to work with them, it was just 2-3 weeks till job done. They were very attentive to the weather when managing the job start to make sure everything was done well. The install team was pleasant and very courteous. Took about 2 days to complete. The gutters were installed about 1 week after roof, and are very good. That team helped us resolve an issue with the original design of gutter system. After the job, we did find a good number of remaining nails in the yard (it’s to be expected), but Dan quickly sent the team lead back over to the house for another magnet sweep. Haven’t found many since then. Overall a very good experience and glad we decided to work with Dan and American Home Remodeling."
