"Apollo and his team are the best. Prompt, professional, clean, knowledgeable. They even saw that one of my outlets in another room was broken and fixed it without charge. I trust them wholeheartedly! The only problem is that I can't never hire any other professionals because they have set the bar too high! Great value."

"Sod was laid down very sloppy, Dirt from trenches for irrigation system was not put back in some of the trenches, the gravel area not as thick or as large as agreed, some pop up sprinkler heads were installed too low, they over estimated the amount of sod needed for the job and installed excess where not really needed, they did not adjust the height of the water utility meter boxes to match the surrounding grade as agreed. I requested them to correct some of these things, but after they did a poor job regarding my request I gave up on them and corrected the remaining problems to the best of my ability."

"Stay away from Massey! Massey treated my yard for 7 years, I finally quit them today. My yard could not suffer another day under their care. The service and customer service both are awful. They change managers and technicians so you can't know who did what. When you get one that is actually good, they are soon gone. My yard has been ruined by their service. So, I paid them to ruin my lawn. They have refused my request to fix the lawn"

"McCalls is the worst lawn care service I have ever had, besides Safari, who were also horrible. My grass is light brown with clovers all in it. I have chinch bugs near my driveway. They did a absolutley horible job. I would never recomend them to anyone."

"Called Family's Choice Electrical Repair to fix a lamppost that had stopped working. they arrived as scheduled (after several others declined the job for one reason or another) which was appreciated, but pricing presented by their electrician was unclear and the troubleshooting he performed only confirmed the problem was exactly what i had told him before any troubleshooting had started... $500... then additional $1500 for lamppost repair... $2k just seems an extremely high cost for the job. I acknowledge trenching a new line was not easy & took time, but the price charged seems very high. $200 of troubleshoot fee was applied to repair cost ($1500 was after discount!); think they should have at least applied entire $500 to repair cost... when i asked for an additional discount, i was told they couldn't go any lower with the charges... really??? They got the job done, but wouldn't recommend them because of their pricing; especially not to seniors on a fixed budget. Advise getting quotes from other electricians."

"Does the statement "run away like your hair is on fire" mean anything to you? I want to share our experience with a pool cage Jody Wilson cobbled together for us. Our pool builder, "Outback Pools", hired Jody Wilson to install a cage around the pool. We had problems with Jody Wilson's employees from the beginning. FIRST: the installers were finished with the bottom frame and were installing the roof framing when they discovered something was very wrong! They took the entire roof frame apart and reinstalled it correctly (really?). SECOND: the County Inspector came by and FAILED the installation. Jody Wilson's installers used screws that were far too short for our installation. We had 1" pavers on top of a concrete base that required screws long enough to go through the pavers and into the concrete. This is a SAFETY and CODE issue. The installers either did or should have known better, but ignored this, and all base framing screws had to be removed and replaced to make the cage safe and pass a second County Inspection. We also have issues with the roof frames dripping water constantly. Talking with neighbors who have cages, this was not what they experience. We called Jody Wilson multiple time to discuss repair of this shoddy workmanship, but we were never successful. The receptionist, after asking our name, would always put us on hold, then came back and say there was nothing they could (would) do. We are in the process of contacting another company who will do the job correctly and listen to our needs."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Morriston, FL

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
