"Chris & his crew arrived on time, they had to remove the existing tree, plant the new tree and create a stone tree well around the nw tree.  It turned out just like we wanted.  They also installed some small shrubs for us to improve the overall appearance of our backyard.  We love it and get compliments on it all the time. <br /> Previous to doing this work for us, Chris & his team installed a paved patio and sidewalk in our backyard that we love.  That's why we knew we needed to go to him when we had this job come up.   <br /> We highly recommend this company for anyone who needs pavers, stone work or landscaping done.  They are reliable and do beautiful work! <br />"

"The process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe.  For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. <br /> This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right. <br />"

"It went very well from the estimate to finish.  Very forthright, did an outstanding job on our crumbling buttresses, made a wonderful new step in the back to replace the bricks we had covered with some outdoor carpeting and the front walk is nice and smooth!  <br />"

"I called them to enquire about overseeding and the gentleman on the other side was very thorough and professional. He took all time and patience to explain me how and when I should work my lawn to make it look nicer. I will surely give them business when I go ahead and do the work."

"I bid approximately 10 different people across three categories: landscapers, contractors and masons. The landscapers were stumped given it was structural and it was graduated (grew from small to tall). The contractors were very matter of fact as were most of the masons; demo it and build it with this one brick style that they were accustomed to using. Scott came out and was very self-assured as to how he was going to tackle the project and he explained how he was going to do it and why. Prior to this however, on the phone, he sent us to his website to check out all the retaining walls he had previously done, both structural and more for esthetic purposes (my words) I will say. After he explained his approach, he then got out his brick catalog and gave us a couple of options then he would recommend. Then, he saw that we had a large tree nearby and recommended that perhaps we might want to go with a smooth vs. textured stone so that all the sap and other tree droppings wouldn't cling to the brick. This is the type of attention to detail that Scott brings to the project. He was right on budget, his team was very pleasant and very nice, and they were very clean when they were done. I would use them again in a minute. I am not sure that there isn't anything with stone that Scott hasn't done. <br />"

"Even though the job cost increased when we learned about our yard, it was the right thing to do for the house. Drew diagnosed that the yard on either side of our house needed to be graded in order to protect the bracing work that was done inside. They were fast, efficient, courteous, on time and easily one of the tightest run ships I have worked with. Highly recommend."

"My next door neighbors hired Dakota Unlimited to replace their chain link fence (including along the property line between our properties). This was something that had been on my own todo list for a couple of years now so I took the prompt and contacted Dakota Unlimted to expand the project to include the parts go the fence they were going to originally leave and the fence along the other side of my property (along an alley). They immediately got someone out to me to give a quote and not only did they go great work, but slotted me into the same spot as my neighbors so all the work was done at once. They definitely cost a bit more than I was originally planning, but you can tell where the additional money went when you look at the fence quality."

"Was very pleased with the overall result of New Again. I submitted dimensions and pictures over the website and received a very competitive quote. After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... I'm very glad I chose to do this rather than replacement."

"Arabella Stone did excellent work. It is absolutely beautiful! They completely rebuilt sections as needed, and replaced nearly all the mortar on the outside of the house. It is now solid and looks wonderful. They also cleaned up the limestone wall in a bathroom basement. We love how it turned out. We would highly recommend Arabella. It was clear when we met Daniel how much he loves working with stone. He is a true craftsman."

"They were outstanding. Dale the owner did tremendous work. He is awesome and he is a great person. He does what he says and he does it at a very high level. We have not had them out since that time as we maintain the waterfall ourselves. Dale is a strong christian man and in following that faith he is honest and you have no worries at all. He is very trustworthy, honest, and professional. He is pleasant and we trust him in our home even when we are not there. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Morristown, MN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
