"Timothy Okeefe and Joshua Crepeault came to do the work. They were hired primarily to install the trim around the windows and doors, baseboard around the floor/walls/loft, and secondary work was to finish the painting of the exterior of the house and garage that was already more than halfway done before they arrived. They charged me $100 an hour together, but the quality of the work done was highly unprofessional, and really bad quality work for which I now have to hire another professional to get it all redone. They didn't have the right tools to cut the boards and wood, and made numerous mistakes during the process. I even highlighted a few mistakes while they were working and they kept making those again. Their final work was poor quality and unprofessional. They are not trained to do this work and they didn't disclose honestly that they are not professionally trained to do this work. When I asked them to show their previous work, they sent me a few emails with pictures saying that was all their work but after they finished working on my house, the end product was really bad with so many mistakes during the process and wastage along the way. I trusted Angie's list thinking you have vetted professionals on your website but this one turned out to be pretty bad. The painting job was done ok. I will give that a rating of 6 out of 10 for painting. But the trim work was done terrible. I wasted all that money in materials and labor for having to redo all of that again. They also didn't clean up after themselves and would rush to get home leaving all the mess behind for me to take care of. Overall a bad experience. I tried to resolve it directly with them by sending a message explaining what I think as well as pictures of their work but neither of them responded to my text. They need to refund my money for the trim work job. I paid them for 9 hours a total of $900. And the materials cost was $450. I don't think they have the skill set to come and fix it for me, so that's not an option. They sent me a quote and messages on Angie's list portal, so I trusted that and went ahead."

Tends to work out to be a higher number. It's hard to forsee every possibilty in the job. I tend to bill on a weekly basis but if discussed, i will do sooner or when job is complete.
