"I'm so happy with my roof. <br /> I have been watching it rain and see absolutely no drips, runs or issues!  The solar tubes were installed with expert care.  <br /> One of my solor tubes had an issue, so instead of installing it, they informed me and gave me the option to get a new one. <br /> Wayne and crew were great.  They were flexible to my schedule, and were easy to work with. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Like all homeowners I did my 3 quote diligence to make sure I was getting the best bang for my buck. Interestingly enough, RROC was the only company that showed initiative to win my business. The other companies bids were equal in cost but for less quality/warranty or they just never showed up to do the bid. RROC Exteriors -specifically the owner Matt impressed me in so many ways! His approach to customer service is exactly what we all should want in a contractor- direct, caring and compassionate (no sugar coating fluff or hidden things in bids), top notch quality products offered, extensive explanation about the products and a follow-up that shows that he cares about the homeowner and the credibility of his company! When the crew came out to do the roof, they were punctual, respectful and very hard working! Even the office staff was respectful and helpful with changes to our start date (due to tsunami warnings here at the beach where I live). I absolutely would recommend that you give RROC Exteriors a chance to show you what it really looks like to take care of clients!"

"He was very thorough and gave me pointers on a remodel as well that I asked questions about once I bought the house. He answered all of my questions and explained each issue that he found. I would definitely hire again."

"Travis Miller, manager of this branch, was very professional and delivered exactly what he said he would. The price, materials, and time frame were explained clearly. We accepted the bid knowing that the work would probably have to be done during the rainy part of the year in November. However, Travis was able to start and finish the work within a week that we had dry weather in November. When he called on a rainy day and said we would have dry weather the next day and that he was going to start the next day, I was dubious but he pegged the dry time exactly right. None of our tenants were disturbed. There was no leaking during the reroofing as it was dry outside. All was cleaned up when Travis' crew was done and there was no damage to our landscaping. His price was very competitive. He was responsive anytime we called or had a question and would arrange to meet with us when we needed. We are out of town owners. His staff was friendly, qualified, and helpful.  Very professionally done and it looks great! <br />"

"The company was very informative and efficient, and we are happy with both the aesthetic and practical results. We are also happy to have a greater sense of security about the danger posed by fire, which has been a worry because we live in a forested area far from emergency services. The workers were polite and professional and cleaned up the site pretty well. It was expensive, but we're very satisfied with the work."

"Our roof was leaking and I called one of the local roofing companies. They never showed up. Then I did Angie's list search and decided to go with Clark's Roofing. He came out, looked at the roof and was ready to start the job immediately. He explained what needed to be done and gave a job quote within a day. His team replaced the roof/gutters within a week in a frigid cold weather (it was January). They cleaned up everything. The roof looks great! Thank you. <br />"

"I would highly recommend h20 roofing. I had 3 contractors give estimates for repairing a water leak. This is the only company in which the owner took the time to investigate the source of the leak by going into the attic and determining the location. Repair was made the next day. Professional, courteous, straightforward on what needed to be done and how for a reasonable fee."

"I'm very happy with CT Building's service, and recommend them without reservation. <br /> I got estimates from at least 5 different contractors to replace my two sets of French doors, and the bids ranged from $150 to $1800 for the labor to install each set. <br /> I had talked to Chris early in the process, and he was straightforward and offered to answer any questions I might have while getting other estimates. He didn't try to influence or pressure me, and it was clear he was concerned about my needs. He understood my budget concerns and was willing to install the doors I bought at the big box store, at a fair, competitive rate. He let me know of several things that could go wrong, but on the day, it all went very smoothly. <br /> He and Darrell arrived promptly and got right to work. I could see they knew what they were doing and had a lot of experience. They worked together cheerfully and well. The work went swiftly and smoothly, and they cleaned up the work areas so well that it looked better than when they arrived. <br /> I recognize integrity when I see it, and CT Building has it. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Morton, WA

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
