"My old 40 ft+ silver maple had been butchered several times, in part causing the tree's decline. The shape was unbalanced and the tree looked raggedy. They cleaned out the water sprouts and dead wood and trimmed some of the outer branch tips without giving the tree an unnatural lollypop shape. "PMC Tree Service was great.  My  request for a quote was answered promptly and they were able to schedule the work for two days later.  
They verified our permit and trimmed our overgrown street tree.  It is now beautifully shaped and no longer in danger of branches breaking off in a storm.  Another tree that was too close to the house was removed and two additional stumps were ground down.  I highly recommend PMC.  They arrived on time, work was performed with a minimum of disruption and noise and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.    Crew was so nice and professional.
