They hauled away all demolished deck material. They custom designed a gate for the deck and matched it to the new deck material. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. The price was high but much of that is because we chose the synthetic deck materials. "I highly recommend Jay Gleason of The Home Wise Pros! <br /> Jay Gleason of The Home Wise Pros just replaced our 23 -25 year old roof with an architectural roof, guaranteed for 50 years.  At the initial meeting, Jay came already prepared with pictures of our roof and an explanation of what he would do.  He showed me pictures of another roof he had recently installed to basically illustrate in pictures what he was explaining verbally.  He explained everything thoroughly as to what he would do.  At the time I met with him, we had 2 other roofing estimates, one of which also used CertainTeed products, as he does. I showed them to Jay and he went over the estimates and showed how his work goes above and beyond code.  If I am remembering correctly, some of the areas in which he exceeds the code standards are the ice and water protection and the type of roofing paper he uses.  There may be other areas which I have forgotten.   <br /> Home Wise's estimate was a little bit higher than the other 2 estimates, but definitely in the ball park with the other estimates and within our budget for this work.  We went with Jay because of his thorough explanation and willingness to answer questions after his initial presentation.  In fact, my husband could not be home when Jay visited our house, but returned my husband's call to answer all of his questions.   <br /> We also appreciated that the initial deposit to lock in the price with Home Wise was lower than the other estimates - $500 versus $1000-2000. <br /> Neither my husband nor I were home when the roof was installed, but Jay kept me informed throughout the day on his progress.  He let me know that he had to replace several sheets of plywood underneath the roof due to water damage.  Since he had already explained that in the initial meeting, I was not unprepared for this news. <br /> The work started around 7:30 a.m. and they concluded around 4 or 4:30.  Clean-up was excellent.  I did not find any debris or nails. <br /> Jay's procedure is to take pictures of the entire job as it is being done.  He then meets with you to show the pictures and explain what was done.  For instance, he had pictures of each of the plywood pieces that had to be replaced to show me the water damage and why they had to be replaced.  He made suggestions about repairing cracks in the chimney and the gutters and had pictures to show me of these areas.  He answered all of my questions at this closing meeting. Jay and Home Wise Pros does an excellent job and I am happy to recommend him to others. <br />"

Through dialog he provided a solution to address the bedroom above and repaired all the drywall. Matched the paint and painted whole room to where is looked brand new. Team was always on time and worked diligently to complete the job. All items in the garage were projected by a temporary barrier they erected."
