"Sunday service call: apparently there was a big blockage in the drain pipe because the service man had to use a few/several machines/methods to dislodge the blockage. My complaint is : I asked about some dirty mess on the wall left after the procedure. He told me to use "409" cleaner. (ok I thought to myself) Then after he and his associate left, I saw quite a bit of mess on the walls and woodwork. I was very very irritated! I called the service man the next day to express my feelings about the big mess left and that he did not try to clean it up. He said, "that wasn't his job". I felt that he could have taken the responsibility to clean up better and apologize for the mess. Also, his associate put his dirty hands on the walls. When I mentioned this, he hung the phone up. I called back and we talked further and told him that he did work hard to unclog the main line. I felt that he charged me too much in light of the fact he made a mess in the 1/2 bath."
