"We had been experiencing increasing amount of water in our finished basement. We contacted the company and within a few days they came for an inspection. They removed a portion of dry wall and saw a crack in the foundation. They explained the process of high pressure injection of a sealant. A few days later they returned, a few minutes earlier than scheduled, to do the work. Over several hours they applied the sealant. They tested the foundation for other cracks. They ran water along the foundation to test. The owner and his wife work as a team. They explained the cause, treatment, and what to look for in the future. The cost was $360. I was thrilled since previously a basement waterproofed had told us we needed a trench and sump pump costing almost $4,000. The dry wall does need to be repaired. But we know the problem is now solved.

"Overall we were pleased with Blanket Insulation.  Our calls were returned promptly and the estimate meeting was scheduled
within a few days.  Additionally, even though the work would take place after a discount promotion for Angie's List members would end, the discount was still honored.  The estimate stated insulation was to be inserted by removing individual rows of siding, drilling subwall, and reinstalling the siding.  We were expected to be home but told most of the work would be completed from the outside.
Unfortunately, we were told the insulation couldn't be done as stated.  This was due to the home exterior possibly containing asbestos.  We were told the work could still be done but needed to be done inside the home or could be rescheduled.  We were not prepared to have workers in our home but we could not afford to take another day off work.  We chose to have the work done  and "hid" in the basement with our animals, trying to keep them calm.  We didn't have access to the kitchen and appliances, so we had to get carry out food for the day.  All of this was very inconvenient and seems as if it could have been avoided with a more thorough estimate inspection.       
 
The work was completed that day and we have definitely been able to tell a difference.  Our heating and cooling bills have decreased, as has the draft we often felt.  All of the employees we had interactions with from Blanket Insulation were polite and professional.

"The exterior Hardi board work was done with high quality and attention to details. The demo was done well with no debris left behind. I had my 20â chimney that had rotten trim completely stripped and repaired with Hardi Board. Looks great. Job took a little longer due to cold weather, but was well worth it. "The job was done exactly as we requested.  Although, we had to pay $50.00 for removal of five (5)  2x4's and three (3) smaller pieces of  2 x 4's;  which, seemed a little high.  He cleaned up ( upon completion).  He was very friendly.  Overall, we were very well satisfied with his work.
