"Absolutely perfect from the beginning. Tommy Leblanc showed up on Tuesday, March 27, to work up our quote. He is the best. He's the kind of guy that you'd want to have for a grandfather. He took a lot of measurements, gave us some advice and tips, and sent us a quote with a fantastic price the next morning. As the price included a 25% discount if approved in 3 days, and we had already received 2 other quotes from other contractors, we went with Southend. We got a call from Southend a few days later and scheduled the start of our job for Wednesday, April 18. Between March 27 and April 18 we made two separate additions to the original job. First we added the replacement of three thresholds and the repair of some baseboard. Next we added the painting of our hall bath. Both of these resulted in change orders to the original job as well as additional cost. Tommy even came back on his day off to get us the quote to paint the hall bath! In both cases the costs were reasonable. Southend called on Monday, April 16 to let us know that our crew was delayed on their current job and would it be OK for them to start our job on Thursday the 19th, to which we agreed. Our crew leader was Benito and he and his crew of 2 showed up Thursday at 9:45. They immediately got to work, only stopping for lunch, and finishing the day around 5:45. 5 guys showed up Friday morning at 9:30. They thoroughly covered everything with drop cloths and plastic. They worked until 6:15, only stopping for lunch. I'm not sure if 4 or 5 guys came Saturday at 8:30 along with Benito. They worked straight through until 1:30 when the job was finished. We did a walk through with Benito and everything that we pointed out (which were all minor things) were promptly taken care of with no fuss or ado. We were extremely happy with the results of the work, the hard work of the crew, Benito's leadership, the politeness and professionalism, and the clean-up that the crew did. Everything was fabulous and all deserve praise and recognition for a job well done. We could not be happier"
