"I talked with 2 other companies about getting a pre hung front door installed and none of them compared to Wichita door. The quotes were ridiculously high. One of the companies I talked too told me they set aside a whole day for this type of job , but probably take around 6hrs. Needless to say their quote was unbelievable. So I put my name in Angie and got a very quick response from Jacob Dennis of Wichita door. He came out that evening after I got home from work. He gave me a very reasonable quote unlike the 2 other companies. When I ask him how long will it take and when can you do it. He said 3 hrs or so and I can do it day after tomorrow. I could tell by talking with him that he had done this before and knew what he was doing. He got there the morning of and was done in 2hrs. Mess clean up and ready for me to look at. It was perfect. "I'd used Custom Painting and Home Repairs 6 months beforehand to paint residential exterior windows and eves and had a very positive experience. Nathan's crew just finished painting a residential interior project including walls, trim, ceilings, builtin cabinets, closets, doors and a concrete floor. Just as before, Nathan and his crew did a great job. His crew are always polite and respectful and are conscientious of doing quality work. He's doing some sheetrock work and replacing an exterior entry door now too! I'll write a review about those experiences when they're finished up. "In August 2013, we hired them to repair soffits, eaves, and yankee gutters. The house is 100 years old, is still all-wood, and we are very particular about having things fixed properly to last another 100 years. It is also 3 stories tall, so some areas were 25' high. They properly repaired broken and missing corners, replacing the wood and then priming and painting the areas. They sealed the yankee gutters (not many people know how to work with this style of internally-built gutter) and made everything look like new. They came when they said they would and worked on the job until it was finished. No starting then gone for two weeks and finishing later like some contractors do. We got what we paid for, and extra (they painted other areas that needed touchup "while they were up there"). They came quickly, gave a quote, and stuck to the quote. We plan on hiring them again this spring to build a new deck on the back of the house. Very very satisfied!"
