I chose to work in this industry because I was always interested in electrical, and was offered to enroll in an apprenticeship program with my first electric company in Nashville, TN. It was mostly a commercial company. There I gained lots of valuable knowledge. After graduating from the 4 year trade school I became a foreman. Then moved back to Dallas TX to work for a residential service company. I also enjoyed this aspect of electrical. There is more troubleshooting involved. The owner of this company taught me a lot and we still keep in touch. Then I moved to North Carolina to pursue my own business. I can do most commercial and residential projects. "Hired Mr Electric to perform a multitude of duties. Brian Cain did all of our work and he was excellent. Brian was knowledge, very personable and efficient. Jeanine in the office was wonderful too. Our work included replacing bathroom exhaust fans, changing pendant lights, removing wall sconces and an old home security system control panel and sensors, changing out canned ceiling lights for LED flush mount ceiling lights, replacing old florescent lights for sleek LED lights, removal of a ceiling fan from our 17 ceiling, adding dimmer switches and replacing GFI outlets. We added some tasks after Brian s arrival and he was great about taking care of everything. Our older home looks much improved. We will be using the company again. They do great work, are trustworthy, reliable, easy to work with and reasonably priced."
