"I've hired James and crew for two projects now - first, to replace my garage floor, and more recently, to replace my front walkway and steps. In both cases, James and his team did exceptionally high-quality work. I couldn't be happier. I look forward to hiring Rock Solid to repair a failed retaining wall next. Highly recommended."

"I called Luis and 2 other contactor's for a small but essential sheetrock job inside our home and demolish and installation of new stairs outside. Well let me tell you Luis came to my house shortly after I called him and he gave me an estimate right away. A few days later I spoke with him and ask him if he could come and perform the sheetrock job next Thursday or Friday because timing was critical. He assured me that he could accommodate me with no worries. Well, Thursday came and he patched up my ceiling wonderfully. He did a very nice job on the sheetrock ceiling ($700). The next day he set up a 3 man crew to demolish my stairs and create a masterpiece new steps. He told us you will be able to walk up these steps with your eyes closed. He adjusted for the drainage and used part of the old stairs as a retaining wall. When the new steps were finished they were stunning and my wife loves them (1,800). We will definitely use Luis and his crew again for our future projects. He is very good."

"Bright Stone did a good job repairing the steps to my front door and the retaining walls in my drive way. He even pointed out additional repairs that should be done, which I had overlooked. However, I do feel that I was overcharged for the work and would definitely recommend negotiating (and getting a 2nd opinion). But overall Bright Stone did a good job and I am satisfied with their work."

"Hiring Raj & his team was a WIN-WIN. I need a large window be removed, properly bricked outside & framed inside. Now I usually receive 2x or more quotes from reputable contractors but after putting out feelers for the job I only rcvâ d a phone call from him. This job needed to be done fast & w/integrity. Zicklin team convinced me enough to give them the job. I was on site while work was done asking questions & watching the men work. They were respectful of my neighbors, cleaned up & professional. They performed this job the way I wouldâ ve done it. But itâ s easier said than done. Job took 1x day & brickwork matched existing brickwork to my liking. Price was competitive but the job was done A-1. Now itâ s one & done. I donâ t have to worry about this task anymore! Thanks Raj & Zicklin team for making me a satisfied customer!"

"I can't say enough about Hector and his team. It was a big project involving tearing out an old rotting wooden retaining wall and installing one with interlocking blocks -- a LOT of blocks along a very long stretch, multiple levels, and in a place that machinery could not easily reach. I put it out for multiple bids, and some people just make up (higher) numbers. Hector's bid was very competitive, maybe even the lowest, and he did more work than anyone else was proposing to do. In particular, an additional design element that he proposed (he was the only one I talked to who took the time to find out what I liked and didn't like and made a creative suggestion for something new, rather than just replacing what the old one looked like). And then the team was all super professional and friendly, took the time needed to do the job right and it was a lot of very hard work. We've been getting a lot of compliments on the results. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat."

"THIS IS A FATHER/SON TEAM. THEIR WORK ETHIC IS PERFECT. THE JOB WAS A CHALLENGE AND THEY MET IT HEAD ON. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY KIND OF BRICK OR STONE WORK. SO PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK - AND THEY ARE KIND AND NICE PEOPLE AS WELL."

Manny is everything you would want in a professional mason—punctual, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and highly trustworthy. His skill and attention to detail truly show in the quality of his work. "I hired Metro NY Construction Inc. to remove a window and replace it with cinderblocks and a stucco surface coat. Their price was fair, they completed the job in less time than I expected and the quality of the work was excellent. I'm glad I chose them out of the 4 contractors that I considered. I would recommend them and will call on them again if I need any more construction work done."
