"Went very well. Complete in 2 full days with a 2-person crew. They paid particular attention to aesthetics afterward which I appreciated. Most positive part was, they finished the day before a torrential rain storm which washed away much of the disturbed soil (where the drainage pipe was buried) as well as mulch and some river stones. I informed them and, without my realizing, they returned to my property, cleaned everything up and left quietly. When you do jobs like this, things can go wrong (including the uncontrollable, like inclement weather). What I appreciated was how responsive they were and how they ultimately made it clear that they wanted to do a good job for their customer. Lily, the project manager was great. The crew did a good job. The price was at par with other places but I'll take that + great communication and responsiveness any day. I've already referred them to 3 others in my neighborhood and I will definitely use again."

We hired them to help correct a drainage issue on the side of our back yard that was allowing water flow toward our home during strong storms. Jose met with us and determined a plan to add a wall to hold the water and push toward the drainage system they added so that water would flow to the road and not toward our house. "We wanted to add landscape lighting to our front and back yard. Bill came out and looked at what we had (an old system in the front yard with old halogen lights but a working transformer in the front yard and nothing in the back. He was extremely professional, and at my request worked to update and incorporate what I already had with new LED lighting. He was super easy to work with, knows his stuff and focused on doing a great job for the customer. I told him I didn't want to spend a fortune and he came up with a plan. Once we got everything up I wanted to make some tweaks and additions. He was super accommodating and responsive. He genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with the finished product. Great experience. I got a few quotes from top Angie's list (and one other contractor) and Outdoor Illumination wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but they are probably the best!"

They came in the Fall to shut down and empty the water out of my underground garden irrigation system so the system would not freeze and crack in the wintertime, then returned in the spring to reconnect the water, check and repair the system, and start the watering up again.
