I had heard a lot of good things about Side Pro so I gave them a call. They exceeded all of our expectations. Their receptionist was very helpful and professional and scheduled someone to come do the work in less than one week. The installer arrived on time and cut the hole, installed the block and flashing, caulked around the edge, in about 30 minutes and it looks fantastic. I will definitely recommend and hire Side Pro again for any siding, roofing or painting that I need done in the future."

Pros: current business license, bond, and insurance on file with WA state; communicative and responsive; fair cost estimates; no unnecessary padding in his estimate of scope of work; open to negotiation and discussion throughout the job; used high-quality materials; high-quality workmanship; efficient and thorough when on-site; corrected any of his own mistakes at no cost to customer; 85% cleanup job/hauling away old/used house trim materials. Cons: took a few days longer than necessary/than originally projected/proposed due to interspersed 4-day vacations (one or two days either side of a weekend - punctuality concern); lack of diligence keeping worksite cleaned of old/used caulk, nails, and wood chips from old trim (required a little bit of cleanup from customer)"

ALL of the work was done to a high bar with high-quality materials at prices that were competitive or below what was quoted by other vendors. I appreciated that they were willing to tackle everything from the big projects I needed done to smaller fit & finish work that some vendors might turn away. Some of the most valuable work included: building an extension to a deck and engineering support that would allow it to hold a hot tub, a full stain and re-paint of a large deck and all railings, designing and installing a beautiful custom wall-mounted murphy table, helping install railings and accessibility features throughout the cabin, and helping rehabilitate and beautify the land. But, he underestimated wood needed for replacement of deck boards and he didn’t bid the cleanup/disposal of removed wood so the quote was short by $300.
