"My Husband and I had our kitchen remodeled by Capital Counters and Cabinets. This was our first major remodel so we were nervous and didn't know what to expect. We got bids from 4 contractors and felt these guys were the most knowledgeable and professional. Juan, Gary and Adam answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. The remodel took 6 weeks and even though the inconvenience of not having a kitchen was annoying at times, the outcome was definitely worth it all. Juan, Gary, Adam and all of Capital Counters' employees are true professionals and I am glad we decided to select them to remodel our kitchen. I would definitely recommend them for any project, small or large."

"WOW... Where to start. <br /> First I never go low bid. You just end up with problems and the price goes up higher than a better person anyway. Steve on the other hand had fair pricing. You may not agree but he is a professional, craftsman, efficient and artisan. <br /> I had finished my cabinets myself, and just like installing my floor - I knew my limitations. So I went about finding someone who could install my crown moulding PERFECTLY.  I found Steve after some searching. I drew up some plans and found him here. He called me. And while he usually does really large jobs, he had time for my small one.  <br /> Steve showed up on time and got to work. Mind you, my home doesn't have a square corner in it anywhere. This didn't fluster Steve. He navigated the poor construction of my house and installed the moulding PERFECTLY. Every corner matched like you would expect from the best finish cabinetry or fine piece of furniture. <br /> This was the last piece of the puzzle for my project and it went perfect. I would recommend Steve for any project. He was smart and skilled. And I guess these days you need to mention he was clean and could put sentences together.  <br /> If you are looking for the best. Call Steve. You won't find him the cheapest - OR the most expensive. But what you will get is craftsmanship without compromise with no stress before or during the process. And in the end - you will look at the work and know you just increased the value of your home. <br /> I hope this helps you with your decision. Steve - thanks for everything !!! <br />"

"<p>In 25 years this is the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. <br /> The whole process started with our upstairs toilet overflowing. Unfortunately this happened without the knowledge of anyone in the household and occurred just as we were leaving the house for a 4 hour shopping trip. When we came home the bathroom and most of the downstairs area was flooded. We reported this to our insurance company and were able to get the water mitigation and demolition completed with one of their suggested contractors. We then spent 8 weeks working with a couple of contractors trying to come to an agreement so we could get the repairs done. Even our insurance company was frustrated with the poor communication and effort these contractors exhibited. Just when we were ready to give up on ever getting the repairs completed, someone from work referred us to Builderzz.<br /> I called Builderzz that night and spoke with Yoav Arielli who goes by Joe. We agreed to meet the next night. When Joe came to give his estimate, I shared the insurance estimate with him to help ensure that he didn't miss quoting anything. Joe did a quick review of their estimate and said that he felt that the price they were estimating on many of the repairs we needed were overstated. He was confident that he could give us an estimate well within the allowance we had received from the insurance company. By the time we finished our meeting, my wife and I were sold on Joe and his company. We agreed before he left to get the work done by Builderzz. We expected to have to wait a week or two before getting started but Joe said he could have two members of his team out the following day! My wife and I were going to be away at work so we arranged for my 81 year old mother to be home to let them in at 8:00 AM and to stay with our dogs while we were away. By the time we got home at 6:00 PM, the two workers and Joe were still there! We were amazed to find that they had not only installed all of the drywall, but had also installed the recessed lighting. My mother later told me that Eliseo, the worker who had been working in the kitchen, worked pretty much non stop. The next day was a Saturday and these guys don't seem to ever rest. Once again, they were at our house all day, prepping the drywall, texturing, removing wallpaper. Eliseo in particular is an artist. By the end of the day our kitchen looked tremendous. And Joe was a presence as well visiting or calling on a regular basis to make sure everything was going along smoothly. </p> A couple of days later, when the kitchen was ready for sanding and primer, I called Joe to make sure our appointment was still on schedule. Of course, he said, asking if we had chosen our vanities, offering to pick them up himself if we needed his help. <br /> In an effort to save money my wife and I decided to help with the painting. We worked with Daniel and he was a real pro, offering suggestions to help improve the outcome. <br /> Joe and Builderzz have gone above and beyond numerous times and in ways we didn't expect and we highly recommend them. We'll certainly use them again."

"Their service went above and beyond our expectations. Thank goodness we found Advance Solutions. My husband and I tried a handful of different companies and couldn't see eye to eye with any of them. We have lived in our home for about 11 years and since the day we moved in we had told each other that down the road we would completely remodel the kitchen and bathroom. And now that it is all said and done my husband and I couldn't be happier that we went with Advance Solutions!  <br />      Ray was on top of every single detail and understood what we wanted from the get go, the project was done in the amount of time that he had estimated. We were pleased that all the workers were on time during the remodel, which showed their true dedication in making our dream kitchen/ bathroom come to life. The bathroom had mold which was a huge problem but we also wanted to change the countertops and floors. We were able to decide on great quality tile/countertop for our new bathroom and it is perfection, we are so pleased that the mold is now gone and we have this beautiful bathroom to enjoy!   <br />      When the kitchen was finished we could not believe our eyes it was more than we ever envisioned. All thanks to their amazing teamwork and out standing work ethics. From the new countertops and appliances, to the cabinets we are in love with how amazing everything turned out. Ray was able to add more cabinet space with a different layout and it is working out wonderfully ! I am writing this review in hopes that more people can get this experience the first time when looking for a construction company. I can't thank these guys enough for making the process so fun and easy for my family and I. My husband and I highly recommend this firm and have been raving about it to all our friends and colleagues. Thank you Ray and Advance solutions for taking such great care of our home.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Michael came and measured the kitchen carefully and told us it would take 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.  The cabinets arrived on time at the four week mark, and everything looked great.  One drawer didn't match the others well, and they immediately took it back and had a replacement drawer ready in two days.  Their prices are great and once the cabinets were installed by my contractor they fit perfectly.  I am very happy with the result."

"After meeting 4 other contractors we decided to go with Vision Remodeling as their quote was in the middle of the group. Asher, the owner, who came and gave the estimate was very polite and friendly. The start of the project started with within a week of signing the contract and everything went very quickly and smooth. We had a mold issue of the bathroom and Asher was able to have the remediation completed within a week. Asher went with us to select all tile material after demo was completed. The entire project from demo to signoff from the inspector took 5 weeks. A week faster then estimated during the quote. We will definitely be willing to work with this company on the next project we have."

"I recently visited the showroom of Payless Kitchen and Bath in Glendale, CA with a friend. The woman at the front desk was kind and professional. It was great to see the different cabinet, countertop, and backsplash options that they have available, especially because they were displayed like real kitchens, not just small samples. I was surprised to see flooring options in each of the mock kitchens as well as some carpet samples for the other rooms in my house. As for bathroom ideas, they had full size examples of showers as well which made it easy to envision in my house. If anyone is looking to make updates in their home, make an appointment to see Payless Kitchen and Bath in Glendale or have them come to you. "

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Mountain-pass, CA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
