"TAAP owner contacted us immediately via phone to setup an initial <br /> appointment and estimate.  He arrived 3 minutes early before the <br /> scheduled time.  He was booking a few weeks out and due to that offered <br /> to explain to us how to "do-it-yourself." or to book the service.  His <br /> do-it-yourself guidance along with taking a follow up call with more <br /> questions led me to address out squirrel invasion without having to wait <br /> a few weeks for availability. The owner was patient, understanding, and took time to explain and answer all questions.  His quoted price for the service was fair, especially compared to some competitors.  Given his willingness to teach me a bit, since he knew it was not best to wait a few weeks to address the squirrels, I was able to do it myself and save hundreds of dollars.  If my do-it-yourself techniques had not worked there is no one else I would have called other than him to come do the work.  In the future, there is no one else I will call for extermination/rodent issues.  Last but not least, I also liked the fact that the business is local, rather than national.  I would much rather keep money in our community than fund a national endeavor. <br /> Overall, a big thank you is due to Angie's list for guiding me in this direction and to TAAP for being "people" rather than just business men.  4 Thumbs up from my wife and I! <br />"

"Removal of carpeting and parquet was done quickly. Even though the house has an open floor plan, they covered off the rest of the house to keep dust from spreading. The installation was quick as well. When taking care of an existing squeak, the sub-floor was screwed down which caused a slight but noticeable step in the middle of the entry way. There were also some other minor problems. Kelly personally came to the house to review these problems and all were taken care off within a week. <br />"

I called several contractors, including the company that did the roof 12 years ago but everyone is really busy at this time of year. I got Ivan's number through Angie's list, he stopped at my house on his way home at 7 at night. Took a quick look, came back the next morning to do a spot repair so that no further rain would come in. He explained what further work he would recommend and gave me a quote. As other reviews point out, he is busy because his work is high quality, he is conscientious and follows up immediately. When he is available later in the summer the more major repairs and renovations will be completed. <br />"
