"Russ (and family) was great to work with and did high quality work. He came by to give us a quote on expansion of window openings, moving door openings, etc. He informed us that we had structural brick (only a wooden header which was only allowed for several years before the technique was banned). He let us know he would not do the work until we spoke with a structural engineer because of this. As new owners of this old house, we were very happy to have someone who was knowledgeable of the way our house was built and was able to guide us to ensure our home remained structurally sound. He helped us come up with a plan to do the work we needed to fit his and our scheduled remodeling steps. We're extremely happy and impressed with the work. You can't tell where brick was added. The colors match better than we ever expected. It was also great to work with a true family business! Sometimes the kids would come help and his dad showed up on occasion as well. I highly recommend Russ for his craftsmanship, knowledge and work quality! Following is a bit more detail on the work and results. We expanded nearly all windows and doors in our 1959 brick house. We also added two sliding doors to the back of the house. There was a regular swinging door that needed to be bricked over. Because of all of the added openings, we had lots of extra brick. Russ was able to clean and reuse our original brick window sills and tooth in every opening. You know when you drive around an older neighborhood and you can see the brickwork from the street? Not from Russ. You absolutely cannot tell where he toothed anything in. Our mortar color isn't available anymore. He is so experienced, he mixed it by eye and it matches perfectly. Russ was also instrumental in other things. He helped the window people measure correctly and gave us structural advice that the first engineer missed. Russ may not be the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for."

After 2 weeks of "no shows" we started looking for a different contractor. "Lux Interior" finished both houses on schedule. They offer a full range of services, from demolition to laminate/tile, cabinet installation and painting. We were impressed with work quality and professionalism. We will hire "Lux Interior" for any future work and do recommend this contractor."

"I called Passey Plumbing Monday and booked an appointment for Wednesday. Tuesday night, Dave called to confirm the job and get more details so he knew specifics of the job. Wednesday morning, Cliff called and said he was on his way, asking for additional details, as the job was a bit tricky to describe (high-rise condo, hard and soft water systems, etc.). I texted him a photo of the three valves to be replaced. He showed up ten minutes later with a bag of parts and was done in under an hour. <br> <br>After a recent plumbing experience with another provider, I was expecting a bill ten times more than what he charged me. I wanted to hug him. Dave Passey Plumbing does solid work, the price is excellent, and the plumbers are pros. "We were very pleased with RC Drywall. Their price was competitive, and they started and finished on time (something that is all too unusual with many contractors). The crew was really good to deal with -- very happy and professional. After they finished, we discovered that they had inadvertently covered our thermostat wire. They came back and remedied the problem without making any fuss about it."

They are willing to help me with things that I need some help on. I like using them. They are local for me and it gets easier for them to get here. I once called them about my water heater which had a problem and then I realized it was the original company people who installed it that I had to call. But they called me back and were very concerned and very good. They usually come out within 2 or 3 days but if it is an emergency they come right out. They have really nice staff and plumbers. Their prices are very competitive. I have never had any problem with them. They are professional and always punctual. If there is a reason for a delay they will call me."
