"Justin and his buddy Gary did an absolutely did a wonderful job. Not just the simple straight and level normal job. No need for filling in the edges with sod or topsoil. Pleasant and respectful crew as well. Gi e them a chance and you'll be happy you did."

"Lige Smith was excellent to work with. He came out did a site survey to seal my driveway and 10x14 parking extension. He provided a competitive quote vs. other contractors and was hired. He and crew came out within a week and performed the work. They did an outstanding job and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get driveway seal or a parking extension added to current driveway. Lige and staff were very professional and kept me informed during all steps of the sealing/paving process. To ensure correct & proper curing of the driveway & sealing they provided an overall estimate of when to drive on the pavement...Kudos to LA Driveways!"

Small jobs welcome

"We had a enclosed screen porch project which was started over 2 years ago and two different contractors left us stranded with only portions of the job done. This handyman came in and looked at what we needed, performed it and will be back to paint the railings. Several other neighbors were impressed by his work and will use him. We also have other projects which we may need help will and we will certainly use this handyman. He understood our problems and worked them out to our satisfaction. We will certainly use him and recommend him to others."

FAQs for asphalt paving repair or patch projects in Murrells Inlet, SC

With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.

You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.

Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
