"I employed the Professional Handyman over the phone in another city. I waited to see the finished work before paying the balance of the contract. I am pleased with the work ad also with the rapidity with which the job was completed. The task was to replaster a bedroom ceiling that had been damaged by water and then to paint it. I didn't explore pricing pricing before accepting the contract. The work included sheet rock patch. Cut drywall. Fix repair drywall sparkle; remove popcorn ceiling. Clean up mess that includes moving furniture. Paint ceiling white. Job was completed in 24 hours. Cost was $1040.81. I am very satisfied with results. Would recommend Professional Handyman to others. Jim rearranged his schedule to fit me in almost immediately. He replaced pieces of the deck, power washed, scraped, sanded, and stained the back deck. His attention to detail was very apparent. The deck went from an eyesore to looking almost new within a matter of hours. It looks amazing! He also hung a storm door for me on the back porch. "I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.  
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"From the very first contact I made with Michael, he demonstrated expert knowledge of structural roofing repair and home improvement projects. He was very professional in his work and interactions with me. As soon as I called him, he spent at least 30 minutes speaking with me concerning his work experience and discussing the project that I was seeking assistance with. He quickly arranged to meet me at the home at a time convenient for me even though it meant close to an hour drive for him on a weekend. He was transparent in his business transactions, fairly estimating the cost of the project and providing documentation of costs. At each stage of this project, which involved demolition and rebuilding of the carport roof, Michael kept me updated via phone calls, text messages and email. He was very accommodating in doing additional work that I requested. He and his crew cleaned up the work area outside the home at the end of each day. The finished project was great. "Jason did an amazing job with our project. We live on the sound and kill Devil Hills and our insurance company requested. We replace some of the cedar shingles due to wind/rain damage. He worked with us on the quote and was able to accomplish the job in a timely manner. We appreciated him sending pictures as he worked to keep us updated on the progress. "They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
