So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"James (Jim) Harden is the owner of Harden's Improvements. I found him in the local newspaper as I was not yet a member of Angie's List. (But, I checked Angie's List before signing the contract!) He responded to my phone call the same day that I left a message for him. He came by within a few days to measure. A few days later I had a detailed written quote. The quote was less than five other contractors who had bid on the job. He was almost four thousand dollars less than three of the contractors! I told Jim that his number was low and that I would be willing to pay more because my insurance company was willing to pay more . He would have none of that and expressed pride in the fact that he often comes in lower than insurance company payouts. He also refused to take any money until the day that he started the job.
