"I contacted Mike online through Angi, and he responded by phone almost immediately. I had a small patch where a shingle had blown off of my 20 year old roof. He came out the next day, inspected the roof and gutters, and explained what needed to be done. He assured me the roof itself is sturdy and in good condition, but some of the asphalt shingles were pulling away from the roof, making it ripe for more damage. He suggested that they re-nail/seal the shingles wherever it was needed, completely seal the seams around chimney, vents, fans, etc., and clean out the gutters (some of which had vegetation growing). We agreed on a reasonable price, which included a one year warranty. He came the next morning with a sizable crew who completed the agreed upon work on the house and garage in about an hour. "Starting from when I began getting quotes from roofers, I was thoroughly impressed with Eugene and his company Estate Exteriors. He came to my house, inspected my roof, then sat down with me and explained the whole roofing process from beginning to end including the cost (no payment until the work was completed). He was never pushy but wanted to make sure all my questions were answered. When I finally made the decision to choose Estate Exteriors, Eugene helped me choose the shingle color and, again made sure any questions were answered. Once the crew arrived, they immediately got to work. If they found needed roof repair, phots were taken which Eugene shared with me. When the work was completed, clean-up was excellent, and Eugene returned the next day to inspect the work and do any extra clean-up. Roughly 1 1/2 day job, which included removing at least 2 layers of shingles, replacing some wood, and putting on the new roofing. "Short version: Sam is awesome to say the VERY least. He knows what he is doing, does not try to rip you off with service, and minimums, and stands behind his work. I will definitely be using him going forward if I ever need my roof repaired. Long version: Back in April 2022, I realized I had a major roof leak that would leave a massive puddle inside of my garage after heavy rain. I inquired on Angi.com, the morning I realized it was the roof leaking. I had a roofing company just pop up to inspect the damage, and without even pulling his ladder to actually inspect the roof, proceeded to tell me what the issue was and that they could get it fixed ASAP, but they have a minimum fee of $725. As I was talking to the roofer from the other company, I received a text from Sam. Shortly after the roofer left, I responded to Sam and he said that he would be in my area the following morning and could stop by. Sam came out the next day, actually climbed up on the roof, did a thorough inspection, and told me exactly what the problem(s) was. He quoted me a price significantly lower than the other company and said he could come out a few days later (because it was still snowing... in April). He sealed the windows and flashing, then asked me to let him know if the roof leaked at all after. A day or so later we had heavy rains and very strong winds in my area (I live on a hill) so the wind had lifted the shingles on the corner of the roof which caused water to enter the garage. I contacted Sam, and he came out the same day, and repaired/sealed the roof, and again instructed me to reach out if the roof leaked at all. It is July 15, 2022 and we have had quite a few heavy rains/strong winds since April 2022 (it is actually raining right now), and the roof has not leaked at all. Thank you again Sam, I sincerely appreciate it!!!"

"Tom was extremely responsive and helpful from the very first phone call.  He spent nearly 45 minutes with me on the phone talking me through the project and the multiple questions I had.  I sent him pictures of the job that evening and the next morning he had an initial quote for me.  By far the most thorough and responsive of the providers I got quotes from.  
About a week later I decided to go with Tom and he came out to my house to walk through the job with me.  I had some difficult elements that made the project a little more of a challenge.  The biggest being that I was getting water in my basement and would need to have a waterproofing company come in and seal the wall after the demolition.  Tom was more than accommodating to that request and made several other adjustments to the project to move water away from the house.  Tom is clearly a perfectionist when it comes to water, grading, and drainage.  He spent a lot of time talking to me about potential solutions and ways he could help.  Other problems included an asphalt/concrete mixed driveway and gate posts imbedded in the existing concrete.  Tom handled all of those issues without any problems.  We agreed upon the final cost and a date to begin the project. 
Tom's quote was not the lowest, in fact it was the highest, but Tom is the only company that walked through all of the potential issues and came with solutions.  His helpfulness and expertise was a huge help and it was all provided before I made the final decision.  It was that level of service that put him over the edge.  
The work was scheduled to be completed in late April but then the rain came.  We lost about a week to the rain.  At this point I was getting nervous because I had already booked a water-proofing company to come in and seal the foundation wall.  Tom agreed to come out and his crew worked in the rain to clear the driveway against the house to allow the water-proofing team to come in and do their work.  
After that the demolition continued as much as it could between rain storms.  It took about 2 weeks to finally have the demolition fully done.  From the there the blocking, grading began.  Tom called me nearly everyday with updates and explanations and on a couple of occasions physically walked me around the property explaining all of the work. 
Finally with the rain behind us concrete could be poured.  I happened to be home the first pour day.  Tom's crew is professional and dedicated.  They spent hours smoothing and finishing the first pour and it looked great.  Of course the rains came back so it was another week before we could do the final two pours.  
Tom once again worked with me to explain everything that had been done.  He even walked my neighbors through everything as they also had a lot of questions.  The village inspector came and said Tom had "gone above and beyond" what needed to be done and noted the high level of excellence.  
While the project took much longer than anticipated due to the weather, Tom and his crew never rushed anything and took time to do things right.  
The finished project looks amazing and I couldn't be happier.  
Tom will be my first call for any future projects big or small, because I know he'll tell me exactly what I need to do and the best way to do it.
