"Quote was provided via telephone based on my measurements; I had them come out and measure and look at location of gates.  Written estimate was provided via email in a timely manner.  They ordered supplies as soon as I sent in deposit.   They were able to hold off on the job while I had some other work completed in the area where the fencing was to be installed.  They kept in touch via email on the status of completion of that job so that they could schedule my job. <br /> Once scheduled, they arrived on the date and time that they stated.  Work was done in a professional and efficient manner.  I had a fenced yard within a week.  They put a gate on backwards but they came out and fixed right away along with a post that we bent when we accidentally hit it with tractor mower. <br /> All in all, very pleased with my experience with Spartan Fence! <br />"

"We got several quotes and decided to go with Clery because of their reputation. They were not the best price but we felt they would do a good job. After deciding to go with them we called the office to get it scheduled, at that time we were told they were a little behind and would not be able to start the job for a month. We were disappointed but said ok. A month went by and we had not had any work done nor been contacted by the office with a start date ( they had said they would call a week before starting the job). After another week went by (5 since paying for half the job) I called the office and inquired as to what the status was. I was then told that they would be out the next week, I got the impression that had I not called my job would not have been scheduled. The workers came out and seemed nice enough. They started by digging the holes for the posts which took them 3 days. Since the guys putting the fence up don't to any of the scheduling they had no idea when they would be back to set the posts. Luckily they were back the next day to start. Setting all the posts took another 3 days! We were told that the posts needed to set for a couple of days and then they would start the pannels. Well over a week later ( again I had to call the office) they came back to start the pannels. This process took over 3 days as they did not have all the needed material. Once the pannels were done we had to wait again for the gates to be done because they did not have the required hardware. Again I had to call the office to get information. Over all the job took more than 2 months from quote to completion, also their communition leaves a lot to be desired. The fence looks great but with the amount of money I spent I expected a more professional experience with the office and scheduling. <br /> <br /> I want to to make sure that I am clear the fence is very nice and looks great so the quality is there. I just feel that their office people need to stay more on top of the projects. Clery is a very big company, they just seem to need a bit of help staying on top of contacting customers."

"We got 5 quotes for our fence. Dewitt Fence is the only company that did a diagram on-site the day they gave us an estimate. Very professional. There was no questions because we had the actual diagram with gates, posts, etc. Great communications with office staff who kept us informed regarding installation dates and procedures, installation was a no problem event even in 90 degree heat. Took day and a half. Guys were efficient, polite and tidy. And punctual. Price beat all others and materials appear to be quality. <br />"

I love it. We have had it for about a year now and it looks great. He is a great communicator, returns calls promptly, and flexible. </p> <p>Cons: He bid the job and then asked for additional money because he measured incorrectly. The mistake was found after the job was in process and we had agreed on a price. It really was a minimal amount (less than $100) but I felt it was his mistake and he should have not asked for additional money. I had to pay the additional money for the product he misquoted. </p> <p>Overall: I would highly recommend him but would make sure his quote includes any mistakes on his behalf. </p>"

"I needed one face cord of wood, and had to have it the day I called J and J. They fit the delivery in that afternoon. Good hardwood, already split, delivered, and stacked. He was very generous with his face cord, not stingy as some providers are. He was polite and kept the delivery site clean. Couldn't really ask for more. The price is in the range for this area, but the wood is better than the last batch I got from another provider. I will use him again, for sure. <br />"
