"Dean and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. In the planning stage of our project, Dean patiently worked with us to provide multiple quotes for batt, foam and hybrid insulation alternatives. Even up to two days before the job was supposed to be completed, Dean provided me with some last minute what if scenarios. The day of the project, his team showed up, and quickly and efficiently broght in all the insulation, to the third floor. These guys worked fast and the finished work was phenomenal. After the insulation was complete, we needed the electrician to come back to run a few more lines for outlets. They botched a few of the installation rows and we had the inspection scheduled for the next day. Dean was so kind and gracious to come by at 9pm, to reinstall the insulation for us. "Originally wanted spray foam for an unheated/uncooled bonus room over a detached garage in order to lower daytime temps so I could store stuff without having thermal degradation. The owner and supervisor came to view and owner suggested a radiant barrier instead - which also turned out to be cheaper than spray foam as well. After install, daytime heating in comparison to the lower garage space was cut in half! Originally I had a 18 degree F warmer temp in the bonus room - this was reduced to 9 degrees warmer after the radiant barrier install. Comparisons were done on 90+ degree days. I am pleased!"

I would recommend them to anyone, both the salesman and service techs were here at the time they said , not one min. late and their care for their work is second to none. Having been in the building business for years, I can say these guys are growing a co. on quality service bar none. Also the care they have for your house is great, from start to finish, couldn't tell anyone ever set foot in my house. Also the price was hard to beat.

"Wishing there were more stars to give to Newtonian's Renovation than the 5 offered! For their estimate for more attic insulation at our house they arrived on time and went into the attic and took photos to show my husband what we currently had and what their plan was to bring us up to the R49 level. My husband discussed with them his concerns about the baffles and the HVAC unit in the attic. This company listened and discussed w hubby what their plans were to fix any issues first so the extra insulation will do the job it is for which is to make the attic more energy efficient. When the workers came to do the job they cleaned up as they went along and let my husband know their progress and again took photos to show him what the end result looks like now. This is an upstanding company and they offer more services than just attic insulation! Happy we found them through Angi.com!!"

"Won the job with the best bid and gave me the best impression during consult. Work involved removing all insulation in crawl space, hydrogen peroxide blasting the subfloors and crawl space, and putting in new insulation and vapor barrier. While the price was high, it seemed to meet / beat market pricing. Company was nice to talk with and told me exactly what they were going to do, when they were going to do it....and did it. Good communication. Too many contractors are just awful in this area, but not this one. Would recommend (but hopefully not have to use again!)"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
