"Outstanding once again! Nicolas always comes through with exceptional work and great customer service. Back in 2014, I had Nicolas install a paver patio with a retaining wall. Now, in 2021, I’ve decided that it was time to add onto the patio along the side of my house. Nicolas and crew did a fantastic job as usual! The side of the house now looks great, has really opened up and now drains the way it should. Nicolas is my go to person for these projects, give him a call!"

"I hired 3XG for a demolition job and was very impressed. The crew was professional, helpful, clean, and efficient. They completed the work smoothly and left the site spotless. I would definitely recommend them."

"We emailed the company after picking up a card at the fairgrounds. They had a special for $299, so we decided to have a plan done for the yard. Valerie and another man came out and took pictures, walked the yard and talked with us. I was very specific about what I wanted left in place, and that I was looking for a plan that had open space, limited care and select but not over planted bushes. They delivered as promised a plan about four weeks later. It was mailed to us with a list of plants and locations of suppliers, but no explanation of the plan. It was an overcrowded plan for our small yard, did not reflect the low-key open areas I wanted and moved the bushes I wanted left. The plant choices for some areas were not appropriate, like putting trees that would grow 25 feet between the windows of my house front. For what we paid I guess we got enough, and we have used bits and pieces of it for planning, but I felt she didn't really listen to what I said I wanted and didn't match the plan to that image. There was no follow-up either which I found interesting. Maybe since they don't do the work after, they don't really care what you think of their plan."

"Sanford Turf and Irrigation has done great work for us over the last 5 years. Danny and his crew installed the irrigation system and sodded the front and back yards from scratch. They have maintained the lawn ever since and it looks great. We sold our house and the realtor commented that the lawn was definitely a factor in selling the house much quicker than similar surrounding properties. I would highly recommend to anyone. <br />"

"My wife and I are extremely pleased with the finished project.  On a scale of 1 to 10, Stone Image Works earned a 12.  The price was less than other estimates received, but no effort was spared to provide a landscape second to none.  The neighbors are envious and we have received many positive reviews.  We recommend Stone Image Works to anyone wanting hardscape done right and cost effective.  We have already scheduled a followon project for later in the fall. <br />"

"Having had another unprofessional contractor doing other work come in and cause damage to what was a $14,000 T&J Panel System and then disappearing, not returning phone calls, not submitting to GL insurance, I was very gun shy. I proceeded to call Manufacturers who got me in contact with local supply houses so I could ask: who would you have in your home? Mr. Wilson and Company was the number one recommendation with many great things said regarding their character and work ethic. I did have two other companies quote me as well. Our work estimate had several tiers as we were unsure if would need to remove the existing drain field and add clean fill, etc. I ultimately chose Wilson Grading and Grounds not because of price but because I knew from my first meeting that he was a person of integrity, extremely knowledgeable and his business philosophy was exactly what I needed after having such a bad experience. They showed up on time. They immediately began transplanting my Rose of Sharon Trees that I had just assumed would be lost (I didn't even consider having it added to quote because I thought the cost would be too much). Although the new plumber I needed to hire to correct the original problem showed up a day later than scheduled, Mr. Wilson's crew expertly shifted their job focus so that there was no lost time. His crew worked extremely well together, supporting each other in their endeavors and were very professional and efficient. All this when I needed it most, my faith in professionalism, providing added value and great work ethic is once again restored. When I received my final bill, I was very surprised it was not as high as I anticipated (Some extra work did have to be done T&M per man hour). He treated me more than fairly and I thank this forum for giving me the chance to sing their accolades!"

"Representative showed up a little late for the estimate. Carpenter arrived as scheduled and completed the project in two days. He was very pleasant and cleaned up after the job. The room looks very nice."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Nashville, NC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
