"The work was amazing. The price was definitely more than competitive. But like most contractors, you have to stay on top of the management and foreman, to ensure that they understand the scope and the details and are performing them as desired. I am extremely pleased with the work, but had to provide a lot of guidance and preventing of counter-suggestions from what it is I needed. That said, they were far more responsive than other family owned contractors that I had provide a quote.P"

"This company is top-notch! As a single woman, I got a bunch of quotes for my patio that were way overpriced for lower quality concrete, and I felt like I was being taken for a ride. Then Mr. Hernandez came into my backyard and explained the importance of concrete PSI and other key details I needed to know. He gave me a fair quote for 4000 PSI with fiberglass, and I absolutely adore him and his team. If you're looking for a professional job done right with quality, he's the one to call. I absolutely love my new backyard because of them. Its sturdy, neat, and so pretty."

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Nashville, TN

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
