"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. Everything--from initial and on-going communication via Liz, to price, to the quality of the work itself, to the friendliness of the workers on site--was excellent! Jason even agreed to come a little outside of their normal service area to respond to my request for a careful inspection and minor repairs where slate tiles were either missing or slightly out of place. My only complaint is that 10 days after they had a signed contract I was still calling and asking for a tarp over the site of the leak as storm after storm caused leaking into my bedroom where despite having buckets to catch the rain it was still ruining my hardwood floors. I spoke and wrote emails to Melissa to ask for a tarp and either was told they “were too busy to come out”or did not even return my calls. Thankfully once I was able to bypass Melissa, Mr PJ Willard intervened and a tarp was up the next day and the roof done immediately after. Great work, completed quickly once started. I will never be sure if Melissa is solely responsible for decision making, or she is told to delay requests. Either way, sorry to say it was the only bad part of the job. Otherwise A plus."
