His professional approach on “what is reasonable and customary” when starting a project of this scale made us both feel at ease. He provided many different options for repair, replacement and kept it all within our stated budget. Choosing the paint colors was the only thing he said was, a personal preference and mentioned that Sherwin Williams is the best choice for exterior paint, and they have any colors that meet your expectations. Project took 2 weeks and came in on budget. Their crew was employed by MAC and not sub-contractors. They were on time, cleaned up at the end of each day and very respectful of our property. On Time. "Rob did an excellent job on this project. I have a vented propane Lopi fireplace in my master bedroom that has had an “Arctic blast” cold draft coming through the top and sides of the unit since installation in 2020. On a cold night when running the unit it barely got above 61 degrees F . I purchased it for supplemental heat and running it only wasted propane. I had JR Bolton , the company I purchased it from come to troubleshoot. He checked the caulking on vent on roof and said it was Ok. No other definitive solution offered. Not willing to accept defeat I decided to research it myself & came up with what I was hoping would be a solution. Rob made my idea work perfectly. He removed a small piece of drywall above the fireplace, crawled inside & insulated the entire back cavity wall, top to bottom with Rockwool. This included a gaping hole that had been left around the air exchanger vent . The drywall repair and painting was done perfectly. Fireplace now heats like a charm"

"First, even after very detailed instructions about my expectations, 3 in-home visits to clarify all open questions, when the work began suddenly certain work details where not included anymore, and the guy who did the estimate didn't remember what we talked about. For example I requested the leveling of trims before painting since another constructor prior did a bad job. During pre-visits I was absolutely clear about what I want. After the work had began and I requested the promised quality they didn't remember that part anymore. Another major expectation I had was to seal joints on doors with panels. During winter month those joints tend to move due to drying of the wood. I asked if something can be done to fix this issue. It was promised to me that they will use a silicone which will prevent that. During this year first heating saison I can conclude that they either used a cheap or wrong silicon or simply caulk (which wasn't doing the job in the first place). I still have the same issues as before. Crown moulding joints look kind of grumpy too. Later I realized the the quarter rounds in the bathroom were sealed but not painted. The crew was OK, they had to redo a lot, which they did more or less. In summary: a lot was promised, not everything kept, quality is only fair."

"Kimberly Painting painted the exterior of my home last Fall.  First I noticed they did a nice job of prep work such as pressure washing, caulking, scraping etc.  The carpentry work on some windows and eaves was excellent.  All rotten wood on the house had been identified and was replaced very well.  The crew worked very hard, were personable, and cleaned up after themselves.  The house looks great and i have gotten many compliments on how nice it looks.  I have recommended Kimberly Painting to several friends and neighbors already.
