"We have used Alan Drake MANY times at this point -he is our go-to contractor for all our projects big & small. Our first experience of him was when he finished our basement after we had it lowered a foot (by another company). Did a great job from the first minute - was reasonable on price, had the expert on his team, Karl, draw our plans for rebuilding our basement steps & finishing basement for permit purposes,  framed & built walls, finished with trim/cabinet doors, and then had his team paint the whole thing. We then had to use him after our basement unfortunately flooded from Irene when he had to redo a good amount of the work he had done the year before. We've used his team to paint our entire house top to bottom & they did an efficient and beautiful job. Have used them to clean our gutters periodically and power wash the back of our house and patio - always at a reasonable price. And this latest time when our sewer pipe backed up and caused a flood only days before we were having an open house, he came through and squeezed us into his schedule at the last minute, seeing what an emergency it was. Alan is a friendly, extremely personable guy, and beyond fair in price and setting expectations. We highly highly recommend him. He is our hero! "Howard and his crew did a great job removing decades-old wallpaper from our foyer, stairway, upstairs hallway and master bedroom. They then repaired the drywall, skim-coated everything, and primed and painted the walls. They also primed and painted (with three coats) all the upstairs bedroom doors and closet doors and trim, which had been previously stained and varnished with a very dark finish. And they did it all in two days. They were fast, professional, and neat."

"We reached out to several contractors, gathering estimates for roofing, new gutters, installing a portico and a (300 sq. ft. Trex) deck back in June 2016. RCS Contracting LLC was one of those we contacted, and we found Mark to be professional and polite with all of our asks/fact gathering/questions. He actually listened to/heard what we were looking for, and as the Mrs., I was particularly happy that he was available and willing to speak directly to me (vs. only dealing with my husband). Plus, the quotes were not too high and not the lowest. Ultimately, though, we chose a different route/a stone patio (vs. a deck) and decided to hold off on the other projects.
