"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

We set up an appointment for an estimate around the first week of April 2015. He did call and asked to reschedule for the next week, which was fine with us.  He let us know in plenty of time.  When he came out the next week, he looked at what we wanted done and made some recommendations for possible changes  He told us of some possible problems we might encounter, and some additional work that would probably need to have done before we could actually have the addition built.  other companies had told us the same thing.  He told us he would get the estimate for us and get back with my son.  My son did have to try to contact him several times before he finally get the information.  The estimate was more than we expected, and the company did say they would try to get the price down for us but couldn't get to where we actually wanted to be.  We were pleased with the thoroughness of the estimate.  After that time, we did get a couple of other contractors come out.  We did decide not to go through with the addition, but would definitely consider Castillo for future project.
